tension and confession

A week later the funeral was held in honor of Sgt. O'Brian. Ariel was crying for the lost of her mother and everyone attending the funeral knew how it felt to lose a family, after all everyone within the branch considered themselves as one huge family.

They especially knew why Ian was crying as he broke out in tears while giving his speech. No matter were you looked 99% of the time you would always find O'Brian by Ian's side and Ian by her's. They were like glue, Inseparable until her death.

"Ladies and gentleman,if I could have your attention," General Sirdeer and General Maxfield both walk up to the stand.

"I am deeply sadden by these turn of events that had occurred this last week. As you can see our dearst Sgt. O'Brian was killed in action, not by her enemies, but her allies. She was like a daughter to me as you could tell." He smiled, a sad one." The moment I allowed her to follow Ian Sirdeer to be under General Maxfield, I knew I was losing something, but know I know I.... that we lost something. Someone."

"Yes, we have General Sirdeer." Gen. Maxfield says as he continued." This event will not be left as is. As of now we will have every single dorm and office under inspection in order to prevent these things from ever happening. 1LT. Sirdeer do you have any thing to say."

Ian looked up and back down "No sir."

"Look here son! I don't care what you want say something for her. She was like a mother to you!" General Sirdeer shouted.

Raged, Ian barked back, "Son! Like hell, I told you to never consider me family. I said I don't what to say nothing else. You weren't there when I was a war prisoner/soldier and you weren't there when she died. So shut the hell up old man. I said my word than and her body ain't here so I don't have to."

"Who are you to shout at your superior boy!"General Maxfield yelled throwing me back.

No one knew what to do. No, No one wanted to butt in into this situation. Everyone knew just how deep O'Brian and Ian were far more than just say so 'Blood Family' unlike the two Sirdeer's were. But deep in them they all sided with Ian.

"You, You worthless piece a shit. "General Sirdeer pulled his hand gun and fired it at Ian's stomach.

"Nooo Don't" Ariel cried out, but it was to late.

"AHHHHHH!" Ian screamed out in agony as the bullet torn through him.

"Insubordination Is what I'm going to charge you with be lucky that's all that's going to happen to you today."

By now everyone was up Multiple people rushed to see if Ian was okay and the others pinned down General Sirdeer to the ground.

"Get the hell off of me....That's an order."

"With all do respect sir I will have to deny you as my superior." Pvt. Mark Reyes said. ( One of the people who pined Gen. Sirdeer.)

"Whats going on here!" The medic team yell when they arrived.

"Quick over here" Ariel cried out.

"What happened" One of the medics asked.

"Family issues. He was shot by General Sirdeer for not saying anymore than he wanted to." Pvt. Reyes answered.

"Okay we'll handle it from here. We'll report this to the higher-ups."

Ian was losing conscious as he was hauled into the emergency room of a nearby hospital. He wasn't aware of it himself but he was laughing. A light one at most. The Nurses were a bit cheeped out by this since he was half conscious. They didn't know why he was laughing in this type of situation and neither did he.

Hours turn into days, and days turn into weeks, while weeks turn into months.

Ian had lost so much blood that he had to stay much longer in the hospital but fell in a coma before the blood transfusion happened.

Four months since the indecent.: The Pentagon

"General Sirdeer, As Cody Reyes, Secretary of Defense. I strip you of the title of General and achievement of Maryland's Navy General. you have Dishonored the way of our family ways. You put a good man In harm's way, intellectually and even put him in very critical state. For what reason did you have to do this keep in mind that your answer will not change your punishment."

"He did not follow an order that I had given him." Ex-Gen. Sirdeer spoke up.

"And what order did you give first lieutenant Sirdeer." Cody asked.

"Eh it was to...uh it was...to prepare the funeral...." Ex-Gen. Sirdeer lied.

"You not only harmed one of your own men, our fellow comrades but you also intentionally lie straight up to my face. You bring dishonor within our family.we have already been told of what has happened so you cannot lie. First lieutenant Sirdeer has already said his goodbyes To Sgt. O'Brian. Not only is Mary O'Brian's daughter one of the witness but given how deep their relationship are within the fraction and the comments and reviews of the other fellow soldiers about their military life. He wouldn't have done it if he didn't need to do it he has already done what he's wanted and what he needed. Thus this is not his fault but it is yours. You are to be put on death by military law at 07:00 tomorrow." Cody says with a fierce yet sadden look.

The next day Ex-Gen. Sirdeer was executed by military law and was striped of any achievements and titles. He was also wiped off of any military records.

AT the hospital.

"How you holding up?"Ariel asked as she was sitting on the side of the bed.

"Doing better than I was last week." He answered managing a smile for her.

"I heard he was executed by military law."

"Yeah, That old man had it for him. I just can't believe it took this long."

"Hahaha" She laughed., "Hey can I ask you something?"

"Yeah."

"What do you think of me."

"Oh that I uh.... Well You the nicest girl that I have met I like you, besides your mom you were also there for me. Your funny, sweat, and well you just give a vibe that I can't let go of. If were being honest here I wouldn't wanna be with any other girl, My age. Just you and....Mom. Ah sorry." He said as he saw a tear drop fall onto the bed sheets.

"No It's okay I'm okay. I just didn't think you'd see me that way."

"I promised your mom I'd be there for you but I never once admitted that I had feelings for you.You know how weird that would have been." They both laughed as Ariel slid under Ian's arms and fell asleep.
