(8) Moving and Unpacking

We continue to pack until everything but my bed, dresser, and whatnot are left. I haven't gotten any furniture for my new place but I'm okay with that for now. I look around my now empty room before heading downstairs; seeing the guy who I still don't know, moving boxes into his truck. I notice Ang looking at the wall in the hall with most of the family pictures. Sneaking up on her but soon stopped once I realized that she's crying. Eyes go wide, and my arms automatic around her crying form.

"What's the matter, Ang?", I ask her softly.

"Are we going to grow apart?", She asks.

"No, Angie. I know we have a lot of memories here but this isn't the end of them. You have to remember, my mom still lives here. So you know what that means.", I say to her.

"Christmas with your mom.", Ang says with a smile.

"Yup, and that won't ever change. That's our holiday tradition.", I say with a smile.

She stops crying and turns around in my arms and hugs me back. We stay like that for a while until Rex comes hugging us. We both laugh at our sunshine. With a smile still on my face, we head outside. We see that all the boxes are in two cars. My car and someone else's car as well. I know it's not Ang's because she doesn't like driving so she doesn't have a car. I don't see Coreen or Rogue anywhere; I wonder where they are. Rex follows me while Ang goes to the other guy. Getting closer to the cars, I see that Rogue and Coreen are in the car. Rogue rolls the window down, before talking.

"Hey, so is it cool if we follow you?", he asks.

"Yeah, just give me a few I want to see what Angie's plans are now.", I say before turning around to the other car that's in my driveway.

Before I could get to the other car, I saw a girl, she looked somewhat familiar. I continued to walk to the car where Angie was sitting.

"Hey, Ang. What are your plans now?", I ask.

"I think Spike and I are going to a pool party near Dolce cafe. Maybe we could go to the mall or something after you're done unpacking?", Ang says then asks.

"Yeah, that will work. I'll definitely let you know when we're done unpacking.", I tell her then hug her.

Waving bye to Ang and the guy. Making my way back to my car, I get stopped by a girl.

"Hey, do you know where my boyfriend is?", the girl asks.

I turn around so I'm facing the girl then I answer, "Sorry but I don't know who your boyfriend is? Maybe if you tell me his name I could help him somehow."

"His name is Jareth.", the girl tells me.

"I'm really sorry but I don't know anyone by that name; I could ask someone I know to see if they know who you're talking about.", I say and then state.

The girl rolls her eyes before nodding her head. She's quite rude if you ask me. Taking out my phone so I can text Ang.

Hey, Ang. Do you know anyone by the name of Jareth?- Tala

Yeah, he's the guy who I liked. Why do you ask?- Ang

Because a girl is asking me if I've seen her boyfriend. I found out his name and told her that I would ask someone if they know.- Tala.

Oh. Well, I don't know where he is but let me ask Spike since their friends, okay?- Ang

Sure- Tala

As I'm waiting for Ang to text back I notice Coreen coming towards me. I smile at her and she runs to me; I pick her up as she gets in my arms. My phone goes off so I take a look to see that he doesn't know where her boyfriend is either. Putting my phone back in my pocket and then talking to the girl.

"I'm sorry but my friend doesn't know where he's at either. I wish I could stay and help but I have other things to do."

You can tell that she's pissed but I really can't stay. Making my way to Rogue's car so Coreen and get in and then continue to my own. Opening my door, Rex begins talking.

"What took you so long? Ang already left."

"Sorry about that. I was heading back to the car but a girl asked me if I've seen her boyfriend which I didn't but I felt a little bad that I couldn't help her but then I asked Ang and she hasn't seen him either so yeah.", I say while starting my car.

Rogue is already backed out and is waiting for me to get out of the driveway. I pull out and drive to my place. The best part of my place is that it's on the outskirts of New York. But it's still very beautiful and I really hope that Coreen likes the place. We pass Dolce cafe, and continue; we continue to pass by many stores until we reach Freeman South; turning on the street and then driving all the way down then turning on Clifford Point, which is a dead-end. This street is pretty much dead; not a hundred sure why but whatever reason I'm just happy it's so pretty. Pulling up into my driveway and putting my car in park just as my phone goes off.

"Hello?", I answer.

"Um… sorry to bother you Tala but you do think you could bring me some tampons?", Ang asks shyly.

I let out a little laugh; "Sure, um… do you need it right now?", I ask.

It's quiet and then she hangs up; I look at my phone to make sure if there's service or not which I do have. I see the truck that Ang was sitting at my mom's. I just bust out laughing; everyone but Ang was looking at me funny. She ends up having a blush on her face as she quickly makes her way to the passenger side to get the tampon that's in the center console. Once she gets it she makes a run toward the house but I call her and she turns just in time to catch the key. Nodding her head she unlocks it and leaves the door open. The place has a garage with flowers in the front yard and a lot of trees in the back. Grabbing a few lightboxes and heading into the house; I see some pictures up on the wall and that's about it. Putting the two lightboxes in my bathroom which says it. Going back to the car, I see Coreen having difficulties lifting the small boxes that hold the things that were in the table drawers in my bedroom. I walked over to her and picked the top box while she was able to lift the other box; we both walked side by side until we got to the door when she went in first and I followed her. We made it to my room to see that the boys already put the bed and drawers, and whatnot that was in my other room up. I notice Ang and Rex putting my pictures back up where I had them before and other things they know where I would put it. After about two hours later, we're done putting everything away. Coreen is leaning against Ang while Ang is leaning on Rex, who was passed out. I take a quick picture and pick up Coreen and place her on my bed but sadly when I pick her up, she ends up waking up.

"Do you think we could get some food?", Coreen asks me.

"Sure, I don't see why not.", I say to her.
