You Saved Me Tonight
So tonight is Gigi's house party and I've been hanging out with her as well as her friends though I'm still not comfortable with them. Lena? She's not talking to me even we're just seatmates. I tried to but she ignores me, I know that I'm wrong but if it's all about my future? My life? I need to do it! At least I have Gigi by my side anyway.
"I said what's the answer Ms. Ivory?" I was shock when I heard my surname. Ms. Reyes staring at me waiting for something and so are my classmates except Lena. I slowly stood up and no one tries to speak. Dead air.
"C-can you repeat the question M-miss?"
"Nope" OH GEEZ I'M ON A HOT SEAT RIGHT NOW. I turned my head to see Lena if she's willing to help me but obviously she's not.
"A-apple?" OH SHOOT! I'M DEAD. WHAT IS THE CONNECTION OF APPLE IN HER SUBJECT.
"What or where exactly the apple is?" Glyde asked again, I remembered how Lena put her apple in her bag instead of giving it to me. It breaks my heart remembering how I chose someone over my bestfriend.
"On.. On.. On.. In a bag?" Ms. Reyes smiled and nodded. I sighed in relief and sit, I just got lucky.
"An apple in a bag is an example of Isaac Newt..." I didn't mind Ms. Reyes, I spaced out all throughout her class.

The second class ended up so quickly, Nancy and Ellen saw me at the locker but didn't say anything and throw me a lot of rolling eyes and smirks. They're still mad at me obviously. Before I close my locker someone closed it beside me, turning to see the aqua blue eyes I've never seen for about two hours.
"Hey babe" I said before kissing her cheek, many students watch me as I did that. Hello! I got the girl in your dreams guys I won!
"So you ready tonight? Can't wait to see you wear hot outfit later" Gigi said as she winked at me, I smirked at her.
"Uhm, honestly I- no, my clothe's were ready." Honestly not, I forgot to prepare the things I'll wear tonight. I don't have any neat clothes, maybe I'll wear my sweater or something.
"Good. Well, see you at the party?"
"Yes of course" I smiled at her and she lean forward to me that cause my back to hit the locker.
"I love you" She whispered on my ear with the warmest breath I've ever feel.
I don't know what to say because I'm stunned from her voice. All students were around us watching as if we're about to kiss.

The class ended so fast but for me? It's the hardest time of my life, I can't move or talk to anyone. I'm not that comfortable with Lena by my side especially she's like a ghost or something. I just can't take it that someone is mad at me.. I immediately leave the class and waited at the school gate to meet Van.
As I walk home with Van there's only silence between us. I had a bad day though, and I think Van too.
"Bad day?" I asked while looking down the ground while we walk. I feel that he look at me thinking am I talking to him.
"Yeah, same as yesterday." Van is handsome. He has this brown eyes, cool hair cut, black hair, defined nose kissable lips BUT he is bullied in his school. Dad brought him to an exclusive high school for boys since he's a scholar, but many of them bully him because.. He is gay. He never came out there but his classmates noticed it I think? that's why all of them bullied him. He can't approach dad about it for a fact that he will be mad. He only came out when he was 18 but I knew it from the start that he is gay, well, Justin said to me what's happening to Van in there because they both study at the same high school.
This is the time that I have no idea about his sexuality. I need to pretend that I don't know anything. "Why?"
"Have you been bullied because of you're different to them?" He stayed his head low.
"What kind of difference?" I asked him.
"Just, you're just different. You're out of place. Like I don't want to stay in a crowded place with full of opinions because that's my loneliest place."
"You know Van.. You're not the only one who's different. Being different is unique, it's not your choice. Because you are born to be different. Those narrow-minded bullies are just nothing. Don't listen to them, fight as you can, in a non-violent way. Or just.. smile at them and pray for them. And we're here for you no matter what." He stop in his track and I also stop walking. I look into his brown eyes that's filled with tears right now. I know how painful bullying is, how it's hard to stay inside a box and be a puppet.
"T-thank you so much.." He hug me so tight. I felt how hard it is for a 14-year old like him. Especially to dad, he is also a pressure. Well I didn't came out, dad and mom know that I like David very much in a thought of me being straight.
"I'll help you with dad" He released his grip on me showing me his confused face.
"How did you know?" His face frowned.
"Simple, I'm your sister"

"I love you Vandolf no matter what" Dad hugging Van so tight, I with my teary eyes. Mom with this genuine smile and dad with his sorry face.
"I love you too dad, thank you for accepting who I am" He look at me. "Thank you Sum for helping me out with mom and dad. I love you two ladies in my life."
"Don't worry. Uhm, dad are you planning to transfer Van?"
"Yes babygirl, in your school." I nodded but dad didn't remove his stare at me. "Do you want to confess too young lady?" Well in fact, I want to confess my relationship with Gigi.
"Dad, I.."
"You have a girlfriend? I wanna meet her." Mom said from behind showing her wide smile to me.
"How did you-"
"We hear you speak "Lena" in your dreams" Mom said.
"What? Lena?" I laugh.
"I-I never dreamt about Lena this passed few days! And I have a girlfriend but not Lena." My smile turned into sadness when I said her name. I think I just can't accept the fact that she's not my bestfriend anymore. ".. And uhm, my girlfriend invited me to her house party. Can I go?"
"Don't drink okay?"

They're wearing nice dresses while I- on the other hand, comfortable with my jeans and sweater.
"Babyyyyyy!!! I thought you're not coming!" She kissed me on my lips that surprised me a lot.
"You invited me so.."
"This is my first ever party! And I'm glad you made it" I smiled at her forcing my ears to listen what's she's talking about but the music is too loud. She held my hand and pulled me to her group of friends. "Just stay with them okay? I'll welcome the others." She handed me a glass of tequila and left me with her friends.
"Come on let's dance!" Bella said-one of her friends.
"No, I'm good" They nodded and left me alone as I watch them dance. I sat on the couch as I drink my tequila to relax myself, oh dude this is gonna be a long out of place gaming for me.
"Wanna dance?" I heard low tone voice from behind that cause me to smile widely.
"YOU ARE HERE!"
"I got a feeling that you will be alone tonight so I come over"
"I'm so sorry for what happened last time. I jus-"
"Don't be sorry, after all. You're my dumbass bestfriend. I will never leave you anyway." Lena said, I don't know but I feel so happy talking with Lena again.
