Third Person's POV (4 yrs. old)
From the corner of his eye, Ken noticed a flickering of light from the direction the three are approaching, and upon close inspection, the light radiated brighter the closer Ken got.
It was coming off… from the girl.
‘Woah, is this? Is she? Another main character?’ staring at the girl, the light gradually dimming once he’s eyes adjusted to its shine.
‘Yes, yes she is’ came White’s reply.
‘White!... Wait where is he?’ Ken’s glanced at his surroundings to find his companion.
‘Hellooo, Above you.’ Ken followed the voice and sure enough White was there floating above him.
‘Good Morning.’ said Ken, to which the other reciprocated the greeting. ‘Where were you this morning?’ he asked, White floating to Ken’s eye level so he wouldn’t be spraining his head any further, plus he would just look weird if he continued.
‘Hm? Haven’t you noticed? I was just right above your head.’ replied White.
‘Oh, hehe.’ Ken scratched his nose sheepishly. That was a bit embarrassing.
Returning his gaze on the matter at hand, he noticed that the glow from the girl still hasn’t disappeared yet, unlike the glow he sees on Wilbert, which had disappeared.
Not thoroughly disappearing more like Ken can summon the glow anytime he wants whenever he wants to check up on Wilbert, it’s a handy tool so that he eyes doesn’t have to bear the brunt of the rays coming off as waves from his friend.
‘That's because you haven't directly interacted with the main character, like what you did with Wilbert’ said White.
‘Huh? oh no wait! I just remembered, you still haven't fully explained to me as to why I can see those glows of light’ Ken said.
'Well, you already know one of its purposes, and that is, the glow is an indicator of who are the main characters of this story, and the person's you are going to help,
It's second purpose is an activatable skill, you can toggle on this ability to make their auras -preferably the glow of light-, detected, within/ without your field of vision with a fixed distance,
Or in another sense, you can see them even if your field of vision is obstructed -synonym to 'block'- by any means or things, be it physical, spiritual, magical, anything. But, you are only able to use this skill, once you've interacted with the main character' -White-
'Ooooooohhhh! That's very useful! Can I use it on other people too?' -Ken-
'I don't see why not, you just have to abide by the rules, in order to achieve your desired outcome or goal, if you prefer to.' -White-
'Yes! Thank you! Now I get to use this, on my schemes, hehehehehehe *evily chuckles internally*' -Ken-
'You better not be thinking of something bad to them.' -White-
'Oh don't worry white, I'll be using this for good....... good for the people, and bad for the evil, hehehehehehehehehehehehahahahhahahahahahahahhahahaah' -Ken-
'Okay, I can't seem to determine whether you're being evil, joking, or just being weird.' -White-
'Nahhh, don't mind me,’ feels a slight blush coming along. ‘I'm just being weird.’ He said all the while his face remained assessing of the situation at first, but had dozed off the next.
"KEN! What are you doing just standing there?! Come over here!" Ken snapped out with a startle, almost tripping on his feet.
"Wait!!!! I'll be there!" Ken came up to the other two silently watching at the girl, Ken wonders why his father hasn’t done anything yet when clearly the girl needs help.
"Uncle, she needs help, she currently can't walk straight, I think she has sprained one of her ankles." Wilbert said. The two boys helped the girl up but her being weak and barely keeping herself awake indicates that the fall must have been hard on her body.
"Mmm *nods*, let's get her to our house, we'll tend to her injuries there, Ken, do you think you can teleport us home?" Ken gave a nod and replied.
"Sure! I can do it." Alfred held on to his son’s shoulders, Ken giving a glance at the girl noticing the feint flickering of her glow, making him worried.
"Okay, let's go." Concentrating on his magical energy, making it flow towards the four of them, he imagined encasing them in a bubble with purply, pinky, violety color -he just made that up, lol-,
A magical circle appeared under their feet, covering their ground in magical runes with an embroidery similar to that of a connected circles and lines, that seem to circle on the center, which is Ken.
Ken imagined his home and willing themselves to be teleported, opening his eyes in haste, a flash of light encased his field of vision, after blinking for 3 times, the view of his house was now in front of him.
Good thing that after assessing everyone, his worries were eased as this was the first time that he had teleported other people besides himself.
Worried that his spell might have flunked, like tearing them into pieces, teleported them somewhere else, or just died altogether due to the physical strain it did on one’s body.
His mind thinking of that time when he played a game of teleportation where he issued the teleport to close on the body of his stick figure character, he doesn’t want that happening to them.
As absurd as it is.
But looking at it, whether the caster wishes it, their intended outcome might come true, still filling him with worries if he really did flunk.
'Don't worry Ken, I'm with you on this one' -White-
'What do you mean?' -Ken-
'I meant your belief on the teleportation spell, that it can happen, especially with a talent and mind like yours' -White-
'Oh, that's what you meant, okay, thank you!' -Ken-
'You're welcome, don't think too much about what others made you think about teleportation, all you have to worry about is what your loved ones and you think.’ -White-
'Woah, hehe, since when did you get so sentimental' -Ken-
'Right here, right now' -White-
'Oh, hehe, okay' Ken felt warm for a moment, the knowledge that someone other than his family worrying about him, warms his heart. 'Anyway, thank you for comforting me'
'You're welcome, since I could sense your distress and anxiousness' Ken smiles at his companion, to show my gratitude.
"Ken! What are you smiling on about? Help me in bringing this girl to your house.” said Wilbert beside his friend when he noticed that Ken didn’t budge. "Oh uhh, sure… wah?, oh wait, I guess I dozed off." came Ken’s embarrassed reply.
"What were you dozing off to?" Wilbert asks.
"I was just marveling at my own masterpiece." Ken says confidently.
"What? The Teleportation spell?" he asks, disbelief clear on his words.
"Yes! I'm impressed you caught up that easily." Ken offered his friend a playful look, and voila, Wilbert reciprocated with a playful annoyed face, a smile slowly cracking off of his face.
"I knew you would be boasting, alright, alright, you're good at this. haha." by now a full on smile is evident on his face. Chuckles reverberated from him, and Ken joined too. The simple things that they are grateful for.
"Alright, the two of you, put down now the patient, or do you both not want to help out and just tease one another." Alfred interjected, effectively getting the boy’s attention to him.
"No, no, we want to help papa, right Wil?" he looks back at Wil, and shone a determined, yet happy face.
"Of course Ken, What do you need us to do Uncle?" the two boys looked back at Alfred expectingly.
"First, I need the two of you to escort our guest here, inside the house, and place her on one of our beds, preferably Ken's bed, since Ken's room is near the back door."
"On it." said Ken, and started carrying the girl inside the house, Wilbert assisting too. The two entered the back door and into the kitchen, noticing Ken’s mother by the sink washing her hands with a bowl of water near the drain.
"Oh! What happened?" Lyn approached the two quickly, worry written across her face, especially directed to the girl.
"We found this girl, who from what I presume, fell from a tree, and is now unconscious. So we brought her home, to help her, and nurse her back to health,
but I know you would be much more capable in this type of situations hon, and I wanted to see your healing magic back in action." Alfred said, approaching his wife slowly as if it's their first meeting in a long time,
Or Ken’s wrong, maybe they are just flirting with each other, I think it's flirting with the way his father is cupping his mother’s face, and looking into her eyes.
"Sure hun, right after you stop approaching me as if I'm some piece of meat *chuckles*" said Lyn, a playful smile on her lips, to which Alfred just smiled as the two ended up giggling.
‘Okay, it's confirmed, they are flirting with each other, ewwwwww, please go get a room, oh no wait, we need a room, to tend to this girl's needs you know.’ Ken thought to himself.
"Ken, Wilbert, bring her to Ken's room, and we'll tend to her." Lyn instructed, he two following obediently.
"Yes mama." Wil and Ken gently carried the girl to Ken’s room, once entering the said room and walking next to the bed, they gently placed her on the soft mattress, and a pillow on her head.
Lyn walked in shortly and kneeled next to the bed, placing her hands above the girl’s body.
"Okay, this might take a while." Lyn closed her eyes, her magic permitting into the air. Ken’s eyes sparkling at the feeling of the magic stirring before him.
It’s one thing casting magic, and another when looking at others do it, leaving him mesmerized.
"Search Magic: Body structure survey." A magic circle having the color of white, appeared in front of her hands, with an embroidery similar to that of boxes, but inside the magic circle, and it's size differ from its proximity to the center,
The one at the center is relatively smaller compared to those further from the center, and this goes on to the edges of the circle, having much more smaller boxes, a light seem to caress the girl’s body, Ken could see other body parts revealing in light outlines, and slowly fading out, when the light leaves it, it does as well as the other parts too.
"It seems she just experienced a major shock from suddenly falling to the ground. But not to worry, I can help her." Lyn said, and cancelling out her magic, and then placing her right arm to the girls forehead and her left arm at the top of the girl’s body.
"Healing Magic: Recovery." Another magic circle, having the color of green, radiated from both of her hands, but having nature designs as its embroidery, the runes seem to dance from around the circle seeming to create a spherical phenomenon.
Lyn retracted her hands and the magical lights show ended as well as Ken’s mesmerized state from looking at his mother's magic in action.
"Woah!!!! Mama! That was so awesome!!!!! I didn't know you know how to use Healing magic!" exclaimed Ken in fascination and excitement.
"Why thank you honey, It's a talent that I have always been proud of, I just didn't get to use it more often though, since there's not much to heal, but now it doesn't, seeing as she needed my abilities, especially with her condition before, but for now, she should be okay." She said explaining what she had just done.
"Can you teach me? Can you Mama?" said Ken in excitement and eagerness to learn.
"Well of course, when do you want to do it? Now?" Ken nods hastily, overly eager to know how to use Healing magic.
"Okay, but first, we must have someone to look out for the girl in case she wakes up, and doesn't know where she is, someone will be there to explain to her what happened." She explains.
"I'll do it, I'll look after her." Wilbert exclaims, effectively turning the attention to him.
"Are you sure Wilbert?" asked Alfred, from behind him, Wil nods.
"Yes, Uncle, I'm willing to watch over and explain to her the situation she is currently in." Alfred and Lyn looked at each other, talking with their eyes, in the end they gave Wilbert the permission to supervise over the girl.
"Okay, we are counting this on you Wilbert." Alfred pats Wilbert's shoulder, and offered a warm smile, and looked back at Ken.
"Well then, let's see how you can learn your Mother's spell today." Exclaimed Alfred and off the three went for Ken to learn about Healing Magic, a skip to his feat clearly indicating his excitement.
