Epilogue

I ran over loosened debris, tumbled down over precipitous rocks, my feet were slipping, slipping onto grass, my hands were now wet, heard another astutely footfall set onto the stones further down to the grass, a furious breath, my rattling breath, the pungent pain in my sides, surrendered, the feeling of giving up suffocated me, adrenaline pumped through my veins, the dawn did not set in, the moon arose, the light vanished, I had legs like plumb, void legs, light weighted legs, the heart pounding, heart clattering, arms gravely, ankle throbbed, stumbling and falling, threats, shouts, trap.

My feet slipped outwards on the leaves and I almost fell, but I couldn’t let that happen. They would catch me.

They would catch me.

I was out of breath, shivering. I sprinted through the forest, jumped in a way to increase my speed. The sight vanished in front of me.
