Chapter 5- Planetarium

"Wakey wakey, rise and shine. Come on, Su wake uppppp!!!" Amy whined over the covers. It's Saturday and after a long week, all I wanted was to sleep my day off. But I guess this was not gonna happen.

"What!? What do you want at 8 in the morning?" I said pulling covers over my head.

"You promise you'll take us to the planetarium." She complained. Crap I totally forgot 'bout that. Well I guess I have to sacrifice my sweet sweet sleep. Huh so dramatic! I sat straight up in my bed and found Amy sitting across me on the bed with a cute pout on her face and arms crossed. Cute lil hooman! Ehe.

"Aww sweetpea. Okay, go get ready and ask Sienna to dress Ash. We'll leave after breakfast." I said taking her on my lap. Her eyes brighten with excitement and she ran out of room to get ready. Her and her curiosity with stars and planets could never settle. I got up and head to the bathroom for a long shower. It's almost an hour drive to the planetarium where my parents once took me. I was thinking of taking Amy there. A nice shower would really help me drive for an hour. I'm not a big fan of driving, especially ever since the accident. Getting front of the wheels scared me so much but I had to overcome my fears and so after 2 months I started driving with Jake in passenger seat. I had to get over the fear because I wasn't a little kid who can be dependent on my parents because they won't be there anymore and I had responsibilities. I sighed. Not the best thoughts to start morning with.

I decided to dress simple and cute. So I wore a peace color crop hoodie with black skinny jeans and converse. I tied my wavy chestnut brown hairs in a ponytail. I don't like make-up so merely put a nude shade on my lips. I was done and happy with my choice of outfit. All I want now was food so hurried downstairs for breakfast.

"You look good dear." Sienna complimented with a contented smile on her face.

"Huh, what can I say, I always manages to look good." I said with a humored tone. Everyone at table table included Ash laughed. It's always nice to watch your family laugh together and especially when the reason for their laugh is you.

"Okay now come and eat, your plate is getting cold." Sienna said, still chuckling. And with that I attacked on my food. It was hella delicious.

"When you guys gonna come back from planetarium?" Sienna asked eating her own breakfast. Amy was already finished and Ash was playing with his food. He does that when he didn't want to eat more.

"By evening I guess." I replied with mouthful of food. Sienna hummed and continued eating. There was silence on the table. Good silence. I finished eating and just when I was about to get up from my seat Amy jumped from her seat, ready to go. I wonder where she gets her energy from sometimes. I set my plates in the dishwasher and took a bottle water for drive. Amy was already at the door with Ashton in his stroller. I grabbed my car keys and head to the car with kids trailing behind me. I sat Ash in his baby seat all secured. Amy was already in passenger seat with seatbelt on. And I was ready for some fun with kids. It's so weird to think I'm taking two kids with me when I'm a teenage myself. But life has it's way to make things weird. I started the car and drove to the highway. Amy turned on the radio. '7 rings' by Ariana Grande was playing. Amy turned to look at me same time I looked at her. She was thinking the same thing as me. Both of us started singing together.

"Wearing a ring, but ain't gon' be no "Mrs."

Bought matching diamonds for six of my bitches

I'd rather spoil all my friends with my riches

Think retail therapy my new addiction

Both of us swaying in our seats with the song. Filled with excitement and happiness. The rest of the drive was the same. We sang every song together, swaying in our seats. Ash was giggling and laughing, enjoying the show. Whole ride was spent with smiles on all our faces and excitement radiating from Amy's body. Watching both of them happy and full of life made my heart swell. This was what I wanted for them, a happy and cheerful life. Regardless of all the struggle and pain and hardship, I wanted to give them a life their parents wanted for them. When we arrived, Amy pretty much jumped from the car. I took my time to unbuckle Ash from his seat.

"Oh come on, Hurry up Su." Amy whined. I just laughed, shaking my head at her and made my way to the other side of the car where she was standing. Ash was jumping on his feet, happy to see something new. I decided to left the his stroller in the car. The more he walk, more his steps would be solid and I could always pick him up in my arms if he gets tired. I hold his one hand and Amy was holding other. We went inside the planetarium.

We were making our way inside the hall for the show but someone informed us that the show wouldn't be starting before an hour.

"Now what we should do for an hour?" Amy asked frowning.

"Don't get sad. How about we roam inside the corridors. They have pictures of planet with their information on the wall." I suggested trying to cheer her up.

"Okayy that sounds good." she said cheerfully. Heh, I'm good at this!

We were walking around the corridors when Ash started pulling my hand. I looked down at him.

"Up up." He said getting tired. I picked him up in my arms. He laid his head on my shoulder and wrapped his tiny hand around my neck. Amy was standing in front of a picture of Pluto on the wall and was reading whatever was written on it. I stood next to her, astonished by her obsession. She started walking to the next picture on the wall. She was so lost in her own peaceful world, she almost forgot about me and Ash. Being lost in her mind reading the letter on the wall that she didn't realise someone was coming the same as her and she stumbled into him.

"Hey kid, u alright?" The stranger asked in his deep but sweet voice. I was just two steps away from them, watching the encounter.

"I..I' really sorry." She said shyly. Aw my little sister was embarrassed by her clumsiness. She's just so cute sometimes. I giggled to myself.

"It's alright. You good?" He asked bending down to her level. Okay that's it.

"You okay sweetpea?" I asked which she replied with a nod. Ash was still in my arms. Mr. stranger stood to his full height. His body was sort of hovering over mine. His shoulder were broad and muscular. He's almost 6'1 feet tall whereas I was just 5'6.

"Try to not stumble in kids again." I said plainly standing beside Amy. I looked up to him to find he was already looking at me. My breath got caught in my throat when I looked at his face. He was handsome, his green eyes studying me. There was this weird aura about his presence that made me feel I was drunk. Wanting to get closer to get his scent, it was calming...?

"You should not let your kid roam around alone." he fired back. Wait. Did he just say 'my kid?' What the hell is wrong with this guy. Do I look old enough to have a 13 year old kid. Damn him!

"She's my sister." Amy said amusingly. She sure was enjoying it.

"Well then she should be a little more responsible sister." He said to Amy but his eyes were on me. I was about come back at him but Amy interrupted me.

"I'm Amy btw." She smiled politely to him. WHAATTTT!!!! why was she smiling at him. He just insulted her sister and she was smiling at him! ugghhhh.

"Hey Amy, I'm Luke." He replied her shaking her hand and smiling. Okay what the hell was wrong with everybody. Even Ash was looking at him with a smile. Now he was not tired. Great. just great.

"Hi." Ash said in his small voice. Why was everyone greeting him. I could literally feel arrogance radiating from his body. Forget the calmness. He is a jerk!

"Hey little man." he replied pinching Ash's cheek which in return he giggled. PERFECT! His hand too close to my shoulder.

"Come on Amy. We should not disturb a stranger now." I said politely to her.

"He's not a stranger. We know his name now." She replied with a pout. Ah....okay?

"Do you also like stars?" She asked interested. Fine. Good. They would have a conversation now. No problem!

"Yes I do." He said sweetly And bent to her ears and whispered " I even own one."

Well if he wanted to speak so loudly then what was the need to pretend like whispering. IDOIT!

"Realyyyyyyy. Oh my god. Su I also want my own star." She said turning to me, with her mouth wide open and curiosity in her eyes. I chuckled at her expression.

"You will have your own star one day sweetpea." I said smiling down to her. She squealed and hugged me furiously. I stumbled a little since Ash was in my arms. But before I could lose my balance two big hands kept me steady on my feet. Shiver ran down my spine with the contact of those hands on my exposed skin of waist(Why did I wear a crop top? Just why!?). His touch was anything but cold or rough.

"Easy there." Luke said in his sexy voice when I turned to face him, amusement shining in his eyes. Great now. He was amused with this stumbling thing. Why me!!!!? WAITTT, NOO his voice was annoying, not sexy. Nope. Zilch. Not sexy, just annoying.

"S.. Sorry." I said clearing my throat. Why was I being a pathetic bitch? "Amy we should go, show will be starting in few minutes." I said avoiding his amusing stare.

"Okay. Bye Luke." She said waving at him and he waved back at her politely. "Be careful with your steps next time princess." He smiled. She giggled. Princess? Reallyyyy. And what was with these giggles today. He waved at me still staring with amusement. I just gave him a tight smile. And with that he went where ever he was going and we made our way to the hall for the show.

Car drive back to home was almost silent. The only sound was coming from the radio. Ash was sleeping in his seat and Amy was sleeping with her head against the window in passenger seat. Even I was tired but more than that I was happy. We had a great day except that encounter with Mr. Arrogant. Why was I thinking about him now? Yes because he almost ruined our good day.

We were home and I didn't even realise. I shook Amy's arms softly to wake her up.

"Come on sweetpea we're home." I whispered. She just hummed and rubbed her eyes. I smiled at her and we hopped out of the car. She went inside the house when I was unbuckling Ash and taking him in my arms. Sienna was preparing dinner, she smiled when she saw me coming inside the house which I returned politely. I went upstairs to Ash's room and laid him down on his tiny bad and covered him with his soft blankets, kissed his forehead and went to my room to change. My head was aching badly now. I took my migraine medicine from my bedside drawer and gulped it with water. Sienna always kept a bottle water in my room. I changed my clothes in my PJ's and went downstairs for dinner.

"Where's Amy?" I asked Sienna. Amy was neither in the kitchen nor in the living room.

"She already ate her dinner and went to her room." Sienna said serving me my meal. She seemed tired.

"I'll wash the dishes. You go sleep." I gave her a small smile. She nodded and smiled back at me and went to her room.

I quickly finished my dinner and washed the dishes. My headache was better. My eyelids were getting heavy and all I wanted to do now was to sleep. I went to my room and was about to hit the bed but then I remembered I had to fill college application. I couldn't waste more time. I went inside the bathroom, under the shower and my body relaxed immediately under water. I was a little less tired after the shower. I sat on bed and opened my laptop. I opened Westwood university's page and wrote them a mail for admission. I should receive a response in two days according to instructions on their page. I wrote all the information they asked in admission portal in mail. I rechecked for any error and when I was sure everything was correct, I sent the mail. Now all I had to do was to wait for their response. I was exhausted by the time I was finished. I kept my laptop aside, got under the covers and closed my eyes.
