Chapter 33: Forgiveness

It was raining so hard as the winds joined them. The splashing sound of each drop can be heard as it hits the window glass. But the winds won't lose from them as it shakes the windows a bit violently from each house.

Not only that, the lightning and thunder joined this competition as it flashed brightly followed by a loud eerie sound.

Not for long, all the lights went out. Nothing can be seen but darkness. This awakens the couple as they were lying on their bed. They quickly took the flashlight and lit up a light on a candle.

Then, they heard some faint sobs on the room next to them.

"I'll go." Said the man, bringing the lighted candle with him.

He knocked on the door before he opened it. Inside, there's a girl crying on her bed. No matter how much she tries to hide it, her sobs can obviously be heard knowing how she holds her tears back.

But her fear is much greater as her tears flow nonstop. And with that, the man scooted closer as he placed the candle on her desk.
