My Running Nightmare

 “Come on. Dance with me,” Renee said. 


 “Are you just trying to get me away from the guy so I don’t knock his lights out?” 


 “Yes. There’s no need for that. You let him know I was taken as did I. It’s over. Now, dance with me,” Renee said as she felt the alcohol hitting her head. 


 She had never really been a big drinker and it had been a long time since she had drunk this much in one night. Plus, she had just downed the drink he’d brought her. Her head felt like it was swimming and she felt her body completely relax. She had always gotten a little crazy when she drank too much. She wrapped her arms around Jesse’s neck and pressed her body against his.
