My Running Nightmare

Renee looked up the game online and sent an invite to play to Kevin. They played for a few hours before she finally told him that she had to go. Christian would be home any minute. After the first day of school, he had been riding the bus. He had really taken to school. She was so proud of him. She cleared Stratus from her history and logged off her computer. So far, Jesse hadn’t asked her to unlock the computer so he could look at it. 


She kept waiting for it, but it didn’t happen. She went outside and waited on Christian to get home. She signed him off the bus when it arrived and took him inside. They took his homework out and went over it. He was a fast learner. Having him look at the books she’d checked out early on had really helped him. She started fixing dinner while Christian watched TV. It was just another normal day. Except now she was thinking about what Kevin had said about her dreams.
