My Running Nightmare

Renee walked into the living room. She was a little nervous. She was going to talk to Jesse about going on vacation. Planning this wedding had gotten her longing to have a wedding and honeymoon. Since she was ‘married’ to Jesse as Tabitha, she knew that would never happen. But, maybe she could actually have the ‘honeymoon’ part of it. It wasn’t who she wanted it with, but she would settle. 


“Jesse, can we talk for a minute?” 


“It’s nothing bad. I was just, um, well, you know I’ve been planning Valerie’s wedding for a few months now. Planning it has gotten me to thinking. I’ll never get to have a wedding of my own or a honeymoon. But, I still want one. Since we are technically married on paper, I was wondering if you might like to go on a honeymoon type vacation with me?”
