 “It’s made a difference. I honestly thought you were going to lose it earlier, but you didn’t. When we were at the airport, I know you thought I had taken off. You still don’t trust me. I was hoping after all this time that I could have left but didn’t, that would change, but it hasn’t. But, I’m not scared that you are going to hurt me physically anymore. I’m not afraid to say what I think or feel anymore. Just as you were hoping this honeymoon changed things between us, so was I. I’ve officially accepted being your wife. Does that make you happy, Jesse?” 


 “More than you will ever know,” Jesse said as he leaned his forehead against hers.
