My Running Nightmare

The day before they left, Jesse sprung a surprise on her. Jesse made sure she wore a pair of shorts, a tank top, and sneakers. They walked down to the lobby and out to the car. Renee wasn't sure what was going on. Jesse refused to tell her where they were going. 


 They drove for an hour to a completely different part of the island. Jesse came around and opened her door for her as they pulled up in front of a hut. Renee got out and her attention immediately fell on the four-wheelers sitting there. She got all excited just seeing them and hoping this was her surprise. 


 Jesse walked up to the man sitting in the hut and told him his name. The man started discussing something with him but all Renee could do was go check out the four-wheelers. There was stuff packed on them so she knew they weren't for them. She sighed. 


 "You ready to go?" Jesse asked as he walked up. 


 "Where are we going?" Renee asked as she looked around, not seeing anything.
