My Running Nightmare

Kevin sat down at the little corner table he'd sat at for the past week. It had been so hard to be so close to Renee and not be able to touch her. Hell, he couldn't even really talk to her without telling her how he knew her. She'd asked him several times and he'd told her when she was ready to know that she could come to see him. He'd been careful when he'd come to see her. 


 He'd made sure that Jesse wasn't around when she was at work. He only came in during the week so he knew that Jesse was at work. He'd worn a hat and put his hair up under it so you couldn't see he had shoulder-length hair or even what color it was. If someone came in, he ducked his head until he was sure it wasn't Jesse.
