When his father turned his back on the family, leaving them to pick up the pieces of their relationship, Nicholas Carter turned to the three people in life he knew would never leave him - his mother, his best friend Aiden and his brother Chris. 

Aiden left the country a few years later, while Chris left the world of the living.

"And I know, I know that I did you wrong. But will you trust me when I say that I'll make it up to you somehow, somehow?" 


"Come on!" Aiden said to Leo and Sylvia as Wolf sprinted ahead, "we'll lose him if we don't hurry." 


"Shouldn't we call the police?" Sylvia asked. 


"No, there's nothing they can do here. Besides, if word gets out of our existence we'll have the Council to answer to." 


The three of them ran after Wolf for a few minutes. Aiden could tell that the humans were getting tired. Maybe he could shift and carry them on his back? Nah, Kyle shifting already freaked Leo enough, the man looked ready to stab Wolf at any moment. He also needed to conserve Nico's strength for later.
