"I didn't see you," I said looking at his face.

"Are you sure? I'm hard to miss," he gave me a cocky smile.

"I'm sure you are, but I didn't see you. So, Can't you just leave?"

He rose from his position, stepped down the table, took the chair and sat in front of me. His face was directly in front of mine, only a few inches away and his face shone in the streetlight, making his jaw look more prominent. "Can you see me now?"

"No, I can't. I go blind at night,"

He gave me a toothy grin, "Oh really? Then we definitely have to meet in the morning,"

"No, I didn't say anything to the cops, and I won't in the future. Please just leave," I begged.

"Okay, Okay. Now that you've said it, I can leave," he stood up climbed back to the window, before going out he turned around to look at me and took my phone which was sitting on the study table.

"You know what? a special girl like you deserves more than a brief moment in my presence as this," he said and climbed back in my room. He took my right hand's thumb and pressed it on my phone unlocking it. He dialled a number and his own phone rang on cue.

*I'm heavy, my jumpsuit is unsteady. I'm lighter when I'm lower, I'm higher when I'm heavy.*

He disconnected the call.

"How am I special?" I asked slightly annoyed.

He was tapping on his phone and then looked at me, "You go blind at night, right?" He gave me another toothed smile. "Name?" He asked.

"I haven't been named yet," I said in a single breath.

"I was sure you mustn't have," he gave me an amused smile and started tapping again, but this time it was my phone.

He put my phone down and climbed out of the window. "I'll see you around, Ashley." This time he didn't wait for my reply and climbed down.

I picked my phone up, How did he find out? Then an instagram notification popped up.

dereklockwood started following you.

I clicked on the notification and saw that I was already following him. This must be what he was doing on my phone.

I placed my phone back on the table and slept.

My major was undecided, I was expected to take business or finance and that's what I'll do. Until then, I was exploring History and well, the college life. My mother was divorced and the college money came from my dad, along with mom's alimony. They didn't have an ugly divorce, they just decided they were better off alone. I was the only child so, dad really wanted me to take business, that way I could take over his business someday.

It was my first day and the classes went by smoothly. No awkward conversations were made. I made a friend, Chloe. She was sweet and excited about her college life too.

"Ashley, you are already one of the last people to join the campus, Don't you wanna know what the people are like?" Chloe said.

"I wanna know what the library is like and what the canteen is like, but people, not so much."

"Come on, College life is about your friends and drunken tales, not about a day old frozen pasta that has lost it's flavour and what was the other thing you said, no one goes there either." Chloe said before leaving for her class, telling me to wait for her till she gets back. I was sitting alone in a college cafe, sipping my coffee.

"Can you see me now?" Someone said from behind me and I didn't even have to turn around to know who it was.
