Lena and the dragons got closer to the giant monster, for the sake of observing it. She hoped to figure out how strong the monster was, and she was hoping that it was a weak one, so she could try and kill it herself.
The monster was heading towards the reef, so she made peace with the fact that she had no other choice but to kill it, or at least attack it in order to force it to change its course. She instinctively considered this task as her responsibility, and wanted to act accordingly.
However, despite what she hoped, she quickly figured out that the monster was not weak. She didn't clash with it or anything like that, no, but she got close enough to attempt and scan the monster's mana pool, but she failed. She could not scan its mana pool, or in other words, its mana quality, and this could only mean that its pool was far greater than hers!
“Damn it!” She cussed. “That’s a monster, alright! Even its pool is monstrous.”
