I turned the steering wheel to the left and then turned it back to straight, just two blocks more than there was my destination. 


I was aware of the car following me, a bit of a distance away but always following me. 


I didn’t have the time to sigh, I parked my car right in front of my house, passing a few houses and the house of Alaaiya. 


It wasn’t too late but the lights of the house of Alaaiya were off, which was suspiciously unusual. 


Walking out of my car I saw the car behind me stop and park in front of the house right in front of mine. 


Without wasting any time I walked in my house, passing through the electronic- bio gadgets I walked into my small house. 


Home was far away from here, house was all I could have. 


Money isn’t the matter here, but living alone in a huge house gets lonelier than one could think. You need the smallest house you can get when all you have to do is sleep at night in your so-called house. 


All I needed was a bed a pillow and four walls with a locked door and a roof. 


So here I am in the smallest house I could get, one-bedroom, guest room, hall and kitchen. 


I switched the lights on and walked in the washroom, after a quick shower I took the black dress out and placed it on the bed and walked into the washroom. 


When I was showered and dressed I took care of my makeup and hair. 


After I was done with my coal-black hair and sea blue eyes I walked out of the room and towards the hall. 


Switching all the lights off, I walked past the table when my eyes went on the table. 


There was a small packet with my name on it. 


I knew who it was the second I saw the signature smiley. 


Unwrapping the wrapper I found a transparent box with a burger in it. 


After I was done I wrote thanks on the back of the note, I didn't have time to spare on emotions anyway so I quickly grabbed my car keys and walked out of the house, locking it carefully I slipped back inside my car and turned the ignition on. 


I was back on the road with the same car following me again but ignoring it, I continued to drive. 


I parked the car right in front of the hotel and after giving the keys I walked inside, my eyes searching for Juana. 


I was one of the representatives of Clare empire, one of the most important. 


Closest to Alaaiya Cassendria Clare and that was what the people here were going to see in me, opportunity. 


And I was going to give them what they deserved. 


I found Juana and walked towards her and our small group of friends. 


Steve, Cody, Xavier, Julia, jolly and Juana. 


They are all my childhood friends, we all went to the same elite high school and graduated together though all of them are two years older than me. 


In fourth grade I was passed two years ahead because of my intelligence, these people befriended me instead of being rude and bitter and we are friends since then. 


They know who I am, why I am but not really. 


Cody though, he is Alaaiya’s cousin, eldest son of Cole Zodias Clare. 


The girl who hid after the incident with her family, the girl who still runs the Clare industries anonymously.
