My Manager ; My First Love

Maria was older than Lara by four months. Lara was born on 16th January 1997 while Maria was born on 7th September 1996. 


Both of them were exceptionally smart. But Lara's intelligence was of another level… So she graduated college much faster than Maria.


Even though Maria was older, Lara was more mature and hence acted like she was at least five years older than Maria. She didn't mind it though…


The two guys were enjoying seeing the both of their cute interaction. Miles was feeling more drawn towards Maria's cute personality.


Just like Liam, he was also not experienced in love. He was never in any relationship before and hence was a terrible romantic like Liam. 


But the only thing that was different was that Miles had more courage than Liam, to confess his feelings. He made his plans to slowly win Maria over with love, care and trust.


Let's all pray that Miles has a safe relationship and doesn't get murdered by Lara….


The breakfast was quite lively with both Miles and Maria stirring up new conversation on various topics.


Lara and Liam noticed that the two of them were getting along well and actually chatting as if they knew each other for years. 


After breakfast, the two guys left early to change into a fresh pair of clothes. Lara familiarized Maria with the house before leaving for office.


Lara was going to get Liam to sign a few files. Just when she was about to knock on his door, another hand came forward and knocked the door before her.


She turned to see who the owner of the hand was. She saw Miles standing behind her giving her a warm smile.


" Good morning Lara..", he wished her with a smile." Good morning Mr. Miles..", she also wished him back with a smile.


The two of them waited for a while, but did not receive any reply. They knocked again and still no one answered. So they decided to walk in.


When they opened the door, they saw one of the most unexpected sight they even dreamt of seeing. 


They saw Liam sitting on his chair with his eyes closed and a bright smile. He was giggling once in a while.


Both of them had to cover their mouths with their hands to prevent themselves from laughing out loud.


Miles immediately whipped out his phone and took a picture of him and posted it in their family group. He even gave it a stunning caption.


' Cold heartless big boss daydreaming about his love while smiling like an idiot.' The entire family had only one reaction.


They were shook…. Utterly shocked…. Who would have thought that one day they would get to see the devil Liam Page smile and daydream like this??


Lara tried calling him a few times but he did not react. So she walked forward and banged the desk not too loudly.


Liam jumped out of his skin due to the loud noise and fell down from the chair. Lara and Miles were shocked and immediately went to help him up.


" I am extremely sorry boss… I didn't mean to scare you…", Lara apologized. Liam just looked at the two of them one after the other.


Liam was busy daydreaming about his wedding ceremony with Lara. They said their ' I do's ' with bright smiles. Just when they were about to kiss, Liam heard a loud this and snapped out of his daydream.


Both of them were looking at Liam with a forced poker face. They are trying very hard to hold themselves from laughing while imagining the way Liam looked while daydreaming.


Miles was giving him a knowing smile. He look had a simple meaning. ' I know what you dreamin' about naughty boy!! ^w^ '


Liam glared at him. Miles gulped and immediately spoke about what he came to say. " Today's meeting with the Ace group has been postponed to tomorrow..", he said. Liam just nodded.
