Where are you? James yelled

     Fariya came into the room I am here she said

       why haven't you cleaned my shoes, do you think I pay you for free James yelled at her

       I am sorry sir, I was in the kitchen preparing your breakfast I didn't check the time, I am very sorry sir

    Stupid illiterate he said, I wonder what made me hire you. You better start cleaning my shoes if not I am going to fire you

     Okay sir said Fariya

   After cleaning his shoes, she went to bring his bag from his room. Sir here is your bag she said to him

     Are you that daft, don't you know you have to take my bag to my car or do you think I would pay you and do that myself?

  I am sorry sir said Fariya.

       In the kitchen, Fariya is preparing her boss's dinner when she heard a car park in the compound she peeped through the window and saw that it was her boss, now he's back he will start yelling, Fariya this, Fariya that . Why haven't you cleaned my my shoes, why is there soon much dust on the chair. I wonder when am going to finally get peace, hmmmm she sighed.

She hurried to the door and opened it.

    Welcome sir she said while taking his bag.

     I will have a nice day if you stop smiling so much, he snapped.

    Where is my dinner James asked.

    it's on the table sir Fariya replied him.

   So you expect me to serve myself right? Wait a second. What is your job here? I will pay you at the end of each month and you still expect me to do all this chores myself! Look if you are not capable of handling this job, just tell me I will look for someone else who can handle it

     I can handle it sir, pls don't send me away it's just that am not used to this kind of job said Fariya.

       If you are not used to this kind of job then why did you accept to work here? Look I don't want any misbehavior James said before going to eat.

     Fariya is outside washing James clothes when he called her, she quickly ran inside to answer him, he told her that he wanted her to clean the whole house because he is expecting a visitor.

     Later in the evening, James came back home with his friend Jacob, they were talking animatedly when Fariya came in from her quarters.

     welcome sirs she said to them thank you Jacob said to her

    I want you to cook spaghetti, vegetable salad and grape drink for dinner,James said more like commanded

     Okay sir Fariya said as she took her leave.

     After preparing all the meal, Fariya asked if she could go to the market to get some new clothes because the older clothes are worn

     But James reply was no ,you are not going anywhere because I am not going to be at home and this house can't be left alone without someone in it, at least that is what I pay you for James said

      Why do you always stress on "that's why I pay you", it's not as if I don't work , there are many works to be done and I try to be as fast as I can but instead of words of appreciation, you insult messed Fariya with a new found confidence.

      Are you talking to me in that tone? Asked James but before she could answer, he slapped her very hard on her face and before she could react, he started beating her.

When he was done, he left the house angrily. Fariya left alone crying. What have I done to deserve all this pain ,is it a crime to be poor and have no family?why did God create me this way? Why didn't he create me to be from a rich family, where I won't suffer any hardship, she lamented sadly.

     Jacob came downstairs and saw her crying; hey,what's wrong with you, why are you crying so much? He asked

     Oh it's nothing, I am fine, thank you for your concern sir, I will just go to my quarters now, good night sir said Fariya as she left the main building for her quarters.

     When she got there, she could not stop crying and lamenting before she slept off.

Thats it for today, I know it is short but am trying to improve.
