It is said that they contain magic, they will bless you with eternal life, beauty, and even protect you from evil. She checked all but only two of them were real. She immediately bought them in case they go in the wrong hands.

"Sir, I want to buy more of these. Can you tell me where you got them?". Asked Victor like he wanted to do business scrutinizing the piece in his hands. He understood the fear of getting these stones in wrong hands. They could even lose their hidden identities.

There was a blue charm stone known for keeping the soul from breaking loose. And a black charm stone known for increasing powers in an evil way. He immediately wrapped the black stone with cloth in case it affected any of them.

The shopkeeper denied to reply, telling he didn't know much about them. But then Victor looked in his eyes and asked again and like a switch had been on, the shopkeeper started blabbering automatically. "Oh I don't know, a few days ago a boy came here to sell them, he told me it was of their mother's who died, and he needed money urgently. So, I took pity and bought them. Since they were beautiful I was sure someone would buy them easily. The far away kingdom story was also told by the boy."

The moment victor looked away, the shopkeeper came to his senses. But they didn't stand there for long, they paid for the jewelry and left the shop.

"Maybe a witch has died, and his son without knowing it's value sold it here to earn money." Said Victor in a low voice. Putting blue charm stone on her hand while hiding black in its pocket. "Try to check its aura, See if this is also evil? but be careful."

He called Valerie asking where were they. But before the call could connect they bumped into Leo, Valerie, Ellie and Adam, and the charm stone fell down from his hands.

While everyone was trying to get their balance Adam bent and tried to get the thing that fell, but his eyes got wide when he realised what it was. It was Leo's mother, Maria's charm stone which got lost from the bank. They were trying to find it, as it could be a clue to the murderer. But before he could take it, Victor bent and took it, saying "Oh, its mine."

When Victor picked it up, Leo also noticed what it was and his eyes zeroed on Victor. Adam was about to say something but he held his hand and asked. "wow, it's a beautiful piece, where have you brought it from?"

"Oh, we have just purchased it from that stall" replied Cyn pointing at the shop they have just come from.

"Oh really, It looks rather expensive for these kinds of shops. I must say you got a good deal." He said paying close attention to their expression in case he could find some clue.

"Yes, the shopkeeper said it's a charm stone. Mr Smith is looking very interested. In any case do you know about charm stones?" asked Victor, also trying to assess the reaction of Leo. He clearly noticed shock in Adam's eyes, but this man was too calm to judge. There was something that they knew.

 But a direct confrontation would not work. He could not stop but think that this man was not that simple as it seemed, and so as this case. 'Why was it looking like they are not here to find a lost prince but to solve a criminal case' the tension was increasing so to change the topic Valerie asked "Brother are you going back now?"

"Oh, yes. We were calling you to check if you could go back with us?" asked Victor, still Keeping his eyes on Leo. While Leo just smiled, but there was no warmth in his eyes. They were cold, and ruthlessness could be felt in his aura.
