Okay, Another Egg

With that amazing thought in my head, I began to cook a meal for all of them. After they ate, I went into my tent and tried to fall asleep. But I couldn't. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fall asleep for some reason. After a few hours, I left my tent to see all of my pokemon asleep. Except one. Luca. He was wide awake, sitting on the ground, seemingly meditating. Not wanting to disturb him, I started to look around the route since I never got a real look at it.

    {Can't sleep either?} Luca said, startling me.

    "I thought you were meditating! I didn't want to disturb you, so I was trying to be quiet," I whispered.

    {Well yes, I was. But I noticed that something was moving around, and I sensed your specific aura moving. So, I figured that you were still awake and that you were moving.}

    "Well, I was gonna look around the route. Wanna come with?" I asked.

    {Sure, why not. Something oughta catch my eye.}

    We began our walk around the route, but nothing really stood out. We saw a few different pokemon, but they weren't powerful at all. There were a few Dugtrios, a couple Trapinches, even a few Gibles. There was even a Gabite! And yet, it wasn't very strong. I knew that if I took it under my wing, it would become a force to be reckoned with. But I decided against it. Eventually, we came across a cave. Not knowing what else to do, we entered. It was a long cave, but soon we came across a room with a split path. Naturally, we both took one.

    My perspective:

    The path was extremely simple to go through. I could sense a curve, but that was it. Eventually, it led to an opening with nothing there except a pedestal with an egg on it. The room was illuminated, however I had no clue how. But Luca wasn't there. So I decided to wait for Luca to see if he could identify the egg. Eventually, I could hear the sounds of battle from not that far away. But I refused to interfere, for Luca could take care of it on its own.

    Luca's perspective: [third person time hehe]

    Luca began walking down his path he decided to take. But quite soon, he realized that it would not be as easy as he thought it would. In that path, there were many pokemon he had to fight to get through. But he found none of them to be a true challenge. Until he came across a strong-looking Gabite. Luca had defeated all of his previous opponents with a single hit, so he thought that this would be the same way. Luca attacked with an Extreme Speed to hit the Gabite very fast.

    But the Gabite didn't go down. Not that easily.

    It countered with a Dual Chop, hitting Luca backwards, however the attack itself was weak. It then dug into the ground, lying in wait for an opportunity to attack Luca. However, Luca easily sensed the slight tremors in the ground to find where the Gabite was. Luca punched down into the ground, giving Gabite, who was too far down, a chance to attack. It jumped up, its claw charged with Dragon-type energy. It hit Luca into the ceiling of the cave. But he was ready. Luca quickly charged a Dragon Pulse and shot it at Gabite. Once the attack hit, and the smoke from it cleared, Gabite was revealed to be fainted in the crater Luca had made. He came down from the ceiling and continued his walk to a room where Black was waiting.

    [A.N. back to your regular scheduled programming in Black's perspective]

    Luca entered the room, with a few scratches on his body. I assumed the battle sounds I heard was a heated battle between him and another relatively strong pokemon. Nonetheless, I had to investigate this egg.

    "Hey Luca, can you check out this egg for me? I wanna know what's inside it," I said.

    {Sure.} He walked over to the egg and put his hand on it. {I'm feeling a sort of Ground-type energy from it, but it seems like there's Dragon-type energy lying dormant inside of it. Can't tell what it is exactly, but I know it's a Ground type. Possibly has a Dragon type evolution.}

    From this, I already knew what it was. That's a Trapinch egg. And I might want that for the next region I go to. That being Hoenn. I walked over to the egg and began to grab it. But then, a huge tremor behind us sounded out. We quickly turned around to see a large Flygon, looking extremely angry at us. Then again, we were about to take its child, so it makes sense.

    {What do you think you're doing?! That's my child right there! I plan to protect it, and you will not take it from me!} I heard the voice as female, so I assumed that it was the egg's mother. Then, she covered herself in Dragon-type energy and rushed towards Luca. I recognized this attack as Dragon Rush. A very powerful attack.

    "Luca, counter her with Close Combat."

    Luca lunged towards Flygon, his fists covered in Fighting-type energy. I knew he had been practicing. The two met in the middle, with smoke rising from the clash. And yet, with as powerful as Luca was, he got knocked back to me. Flygon then roared, and tremors were sent through the ground, heading towards us. I quickly jumped up and stood barely on the pedestal with the egg. Luca jumped up and towards Flygon to dodge the attack and counter with ease. He hit her with a Power-Up Punch, knocking her into a wall. Luca then came back as the tremors ended.

    "Now, Dragon Pulse."

    Luca shot a beam of Dragon energy at the nearly fallen Flygon, almost taking her out but she stayed conscious.

    {You… You are a strong trainer indeed. Please, take my child and raise them to be as powerful as that Lucario. I want them to be powerful enough to defeat those gym leaders with ease.} she said.

    "Heh, will do." I did a fake, two fingered salute and grabbed the egg. But before putting it in my pouch for safe keeping, I tossed Flygon a Sitrus Berry I picked up a while ago. She ate it, and her energy was rejuvenated. I began to walk out of the room with Luca at my side when I heard a sound of battle at the end of the tunnel that led to this room. I looked at Luca and began to run towards the sound. Eventually, we got there and saw Fronja fighting a Garchomp in the room with the split path.

    {You will go no further! I will not allow you to!} the Garchomp was saying.

    {Yeah, but here's the thing. I don't care what you say, I will get to the person I entered this world with. And I will not let you stop me!} Fronja responded. He shot a powerful Ice Beam at the Garchomp. It countered with a Flamethrower, burning through the Ice Beam with ease. Fronja quickly dodged the attack and shot another Ice Beam at the Garchomp. But it cut through it with Metal Claw and jumped towards Fronja, headed straight for the attack. Fronja countered with a Water Kunai, launching both of them backwards. Then, Fronja elongated the kunai into a blade and froze it. Using his new Ice Blade, he cut through the Garchomp with ease, knocking it out. And again, I felt another presence in the room.

    Remember back when we fought that Mega Houndoom? I felt a presence then too. That was the Audino, healing the Mega Houndoom, but there was another. A shadowy presence. I feel it again. And I'm not sure what the heck it is. Regardless, Fronja had won his battle against the Garchomp. At this point, Luca and I walked out of our place in the tunnel so Fronja could see us.

    "Good job, Fronja! But how did you know I was here?" I asked.

    {Simple. As soon as your presence left, I got up and-}

    "Hold on. You were awake as well?"

    {Yes, of course. Luca and I were meditating together, but I didn't know that Luca had left alongside you. Now, as I was saying before I was interrupted, I got up and began searching for the trail of your presence. Eventually, I was led here. And that Garchomp said something about his child being back there, but I only wanted to find you to make sure nothing happened. So there.}

    "First off, we have his child. Its mother said that we should raise it to be as strong as one of you. Second, you don't have to worry about me! I'll be fine, no matter where I am, so don't worry!" I said.

    {Well, that's fair. Anyways, let's get going.}

    We left the cave and noticed that the sun had barely begun to rise. We'd been out for longer than I thought we were. So, we walked back to our camp where all of my other pokemon were still sleeping. I got into my tent and fell asleep very soon.
