Chapter 27

After Ruddy leaving Tiara's bedroom. Will appears at the same time where Ruddy wants to takes a leave. "Duke Ruddy, may I have assisted you where you want to go?" Will offer himself to guide Ruddy. "No need, I just can go on myself to leaves this house." Ruddy moves fastly leaving Will behind. Will was unspoken and confused when he saw disappointment on his face. Maybe there is something wrong with Tiara and Ruddy. Will walks to Tiara's bedroom.

"Are you alright, my Lady?" Will looks worried when he saw Tiara's head bent down when she sitting on the bed and her face was covered by long red crimson hair. "I'm alright, just… I'm unsure to myself." Tiara's turn looking up to the ceiling, trying to wandering for herself about that moment with Ruddy. Will don't understand what situations Tiara face but he knows that it's about Ruddy. Will smoothly helps Tiara laying her bed properly and cover her with a blanket.

"Tell me, Will. I… can't understand to my own self." Tiara's emotions mixed with confuses and guilty and at the same time, she lost confidence to make choices that will be affected her life and her family. "Right now, you can't let your stress destruct you. You must focus on healing your mind and your body." Will trying his best to advise Tiara to stop her depressions. Unfortunately, Will still saw Tiara that she still can't calm her down.

"No, no… I'm desperate, Will." Tiara begging Will to knows the answers, it's not the comfort answers but the true answers from Will. Will giving a long exhale breath sighing for a moment. "He was a good man." Will spoke about Ruddy. "He turns back here from returning home telling me you were his partner because he cares about you." Will telling the truth about what happened between him and Ruddy when Tiara was out saving her son. "I saw his worried face when he brings you here." Will continues his words.

"He saves my life?" Tiara stumbles when hearing from Will. "Indeed." Will quickly answers Tiara's question. "It pains for you to listen to me but I heard from the doctor that he was the private doctor for duke Ruddy's family and he was called by Ruddy's coachman to come here. So, the physician says there is no need for a payment for you and your son's treatment." Will knows that his answers will make Tiara more guilty and depress towards Tiara but Will had to answers it because of the order from Tiara. Tiara didn't speak anything as she feels like she makes a grave mistake towards Ruddy.

The sounds of the horse's footsteps and the carriage wheel coming closer to Tiara's house. Tiara forcing waking her body. She didn't care about the wounds that had already been stitched by the physician. She looked at the window and saw that Ruddy's carriage coming and he wants to make depart. "I must go." Tiara quickly chasing Ruddy before he leaves Tiara's house. "My lady, you can't do that. It will open your wounds." Will trying to stops Tiara after he saw her starts running. "These wounds can be easily healed but not the wounds inside the heart." Tiara leaves the message to Will causing Will speechless.

Tiara coming down through the stairs and suddenly she feels so pain in the waist on the right side. Without realizing her blood wetting to her clothes and when she checked her wound was open causing her bleeding. Tiara ignores this pain and she keeps running but this time she moves slower than before because of the wound. At this point, Tiara will be losing too much blood and her body slowly began to weaken.

At the main door when she already arrived, Ruddy's carriage was not too far from the distance from her, "Wait!" Tiara shouted trying to stop Ruddy's carriage. At the same time, Ruddy hears Tiara screaming but he ignores her and he didn't look back at Tiara even a little bit. Tiara shouted several times, unfortunately, the carriage still goes on. In the end, Tiara kneeling on the ground after losing too much blood from her wound. It seems Tiara is weaker and her face looks very pale. Her sight starts to blur as her breath gasping unconditionally.

"Tiara!" Unclearly voice suddenly calling her name. Tiara struggling to stand but she fails and more unfortunate for her is she can't feels her body that makes her automatically collapses on the ground. Someone sliding the knee and lift Tiara on the laps. Tiara looks closely and she recognizes the face was actually Ruddy. "I'm very sorry, I didn't mean to…" Tiara starts to unconscious leaving her tears dripping from her face.

"She burning up!" Ruddy shouted when he feels Tiara temperature body become hot. Ruddy starts panicking, he quickly brings Tiara to her bedroom. "Call the physician right now!" Will quickly running to get the physician after listening to Ruddy's order. Eliza also quickly gets the wet towel to put on Tiara's forehead to stabilize her temperature.

From Kevin's faction inside the stronghold, a man covering with a mask suddenly appear from invisibility behind Kevin. "I have some information for you." The man covering his mask brings the report. He seems to look like a spy that working under Kevin. "I'm listening." Kevin cleaning up his face by using the water. "I saw Lady Tiara getting through to your territory." The spy giving the information about what he saw.

"That whore trespassing my factions!" Kevin out of his patient. "Why don't you stop her?" Kevin questioning about that spy duties. "There is some reason why I stay hidden." The spy gives some reason not to stop Tiara from entering the Kevin faction. "Incompetent." Kevin was dissatisfied with that spy skills. "But someone is helping her." The spy keeps feeding the information. "name it." Kevin's face looks desperate wanting to know who helping Tiara. "Gudnight." The spy answers. "No wonder." Kevin starts scoffing while giving some smirks on his face like he already predicts the suspect.

"But there is another person." The spy telling Kevin that another person is helping Tiara. "I'm listening." Kevin cleaning his face with a towel. "Duke Ruddy." Kevin is shocked after that name was come up from his spy's mouth. "Ah…" Kevin gives his evil smiles. "That's new to me." Kevin turn back and look at the spy. "Motive?" Kevin wants to know the reason they trespassing into his faction. "I heard that Lady Tiara searching for his son at the western forest."

"The monstrous forest." Kevin thinking about their motives. It's very weird for Kevin heard that Tiara searching for her son at his faction even though his son was not his citizen. Maybe his son searching for something that caused him to trap inside his faction. There is something missing point about them.

"I need him." Kevin spouts someone important to him. "Whom, master?" The spy seems unclear understands who was Kevin mentions. "Do not concern about it, you just keep an eye on her, keep tracking people surrounding her." Kevin orders the spy about the next missions. The spy disappears leaves Kevin in the dark corner like a shadow. "Richard!" The butler quickly enters the room after being summoned by Kevin.

"Yes, master." Richard bows down reporting his arrival. "I need you to call Jack, right now." Kevin orders Richard. "But Master, he will not come if it's not something interesting for him." Richard looks worried if Kevin is disappointed after telling the problems about Jack. "Tell him, someone entering the monstrous forest with Gudnight helps." Kevin giving the message to Jack through Richard that will make Jack attract to it.

"Now, leave." Richard leaving Kevin quickly to make done Kevin's order. Kevin look0s at the windows 'I just can't standstill. It's time to make a move to lead one steps ahead from you, Tiara.' Kevin talking to himself while trying to construct his strategies.

At night at somewhere places, the three thieves look like waiting for some signals to starts their work. Each of them standing on a different roof. From afar, they look at a noble mansion as their aim to be rob as their plan. When they reached the mansion, the thieves hiding from the dark. Two guards are standing in front of the main gate watching over the mansion.

One of the thieves randomly picks up the medium size of stones and then quickly throws the opposite side of them. The stones hit the bushes causing the sounds of noise to make two guards of that sound. "Who's there?" One of the guards carefully tracking where the noise coming from. Another guard trying to follow but he was stopped by his partner to remained guarding there. The thieves successfully separate two guards from guarding the front gate.

All the thieves nodded their heads and start to make their move. One of the thieves silently knocked down the guard at the front gate. Then they sneakily move inside the mansion and start their robbery. The sounds screaming and something crashing echoing the mansion.
