Chapter 28

Many days had passed after the day of the battle at the monstrous forest. Both Tiara and her son Alan had improved their recovery. At the hall, Eliza supporting Tiara to bring Tiara to the drawing-room. Even though Tiara using her cane but she still needs other support due to the severe wounds on her body that is still not fully recovered. Inside the drawing table, there is a big brown table place at the center of the room with a beautiful decoration but there is a bunch of the paperwork and documents on top of the table causing the table to look a little messy.

Tiara slowly takes the time to take a seat at the table. She grunts a little while taking a deep breath trying to bend her body on the chair. "Thank you." Tiara appreciates Eliza for her help. Eliza responds to Tiara's thanks by bows her head. "I'll bring tea herbs for you." Eliza leaves the drawing-room preparing tea after Tiara giving nodding signs agreeing on Eliza's suggestions. Someone from outside knocking on the drawing-room door. "Come in." Tiara answers the knocking door.

"Please forgive my intrusion." Will come into the room. Will walk closer to the table and put properly the newspaper on the table. Tiara starts intriguing at the front page of the newspaper after she giving a little glare at it. Tiara took out a pair of glasses from the small box. Tiara wipes the glasses with a cloth to remove some dust before she wears them. Tiara takes the glasses and starts reading the content on the front of the newspaper.

'The thieves strike again.' The main topic of the story covering one full page in the newspaper. Less than a minute after reading that topic, Tiara throwing the paper on the table. Tiara takes off her glasses and then she starts massages her both eyebrows. "Many nobles at all faction start their conference about this matter." Will reports about There are so many causes still unsettle that burden on her shoulder.

"I think the nobles on your faction also taking action by opening this case into the conference room." Will telling what he feels in his mind. Tiara sighing when after hearing that words. "It will be chaos if I don't act about this matter but if I don't act, they will question me." Tiara pointing her fingers at the main page of the newspaper. It's a struggle for Tiarra to think about how she wants to handle the nobles at her faction.

Eliza enters the drawing-room while. "Finally, I need that." Tiara saw Eliza coming bringing the herbal tea. Eliza pouring the herbal tea into the cup on Tiara's table. "Thank you." Tiara takes the cup that had been pour with herbal tea and takes a sip of it. After that, Tiara got a little relief after taking herbal tea releasing her from too many problems that mess inside her head. Even though she knows that she cannot escape the problems but a little space will be enough for her to feels calm.

Tiara opens the square wooden box that keeps cigarettes. Unluckily, When Tiara's hand touching inside the cigarettes box, it was emptied. "Will…" Tiara's face that calms changes becomes seriously confused after saw that box was emptied. "This is for the sake of your health." Will answers after saw Tiara's hand getting inside of the cigarettes box that had been emptied. As expected, Tiara knows that this is all Will's doing.

"That's what you think?" Tiara questioning why Will had done that to her. "You are still in recovery and it's not impropriated for a noblewoman to have this cigarette." Will telling the reason why he emptied the box of cigarettes. Tiara sighing after disappointing hearing the answers from Will. "Look at me Will, do you think this is will help me to recover?" Tiara questions Will while giving a sharp glance towards Will.

"Yes." Will still stands in his method of not giving Tiara the cigarettes. "Is that what you think?" Tiara showing her stressful face to Will. "Certainly." Just a single word was enough for Will to shows that he still not changes his mind. Tiara opens wide her eyes and she starts making a grumpy face but in the cute mode trying to persuade Will to give her a cigarette. Unluckily for Tiara, it didn't work for Will and he didn't express anything about Tiara's action.

Tiara didn't give up, she gives the same cute face but this time her eyes were wider than before. Unluckily, the same results were given by Will. He just ignored Tiara by looking somewhere else. Tiara didn't give up, this time her eyes were wider and wider makes every part of her eyes can easily be seen by Will. The chestnut brown color for Tiara's iris and the addition of the room light that reflects her dark pupil makes her eyes shine and mesmerize how beautiful there are.

Will getting trouble after seeing Tiara's eyes. At that moment, the awkward silence appears between Will and Tiara. Will takes a deep breath and he deliberately makes a sound of his exhale makes Tiara heard to shows his sighing. "My lady, you should stop your child act. It's not appropriate for the women in this age." Will giving Tiara some advice but in an expressionless way. "It's such a pain to have your sloppy mouth." Tiara directly complaining about Will's attitude. Tiara feels hurt after listening to the words that come from Will's mouth

"Advising and take care of this family is part of my job." Will showing his professionalism as a butler at Tiara. "Ahh…, you are not fun." Tiara whispering to herself mocking Will. That whisper still can be heard from Will but he just let it and pretend that he doesn't know what Tiara spouting about. The time goes by but Tiara still didn't touch files on her table. She was swayed away by her thoughtful and maybe she thinking something.

In Tiara's thought, she thinking about Ruddy. Tiara is reminded how many times Ruddy saves her, how many times he helps her and how many times he cares about her. More strange is she doesn't know why he did all this for her. She starts scoffing after she can't figure out what his attention is. If Ruddy brings a good side it will grateful for Tiara but if it is not it will be disappointed. Tiara keeps drinking her tea even though the cup that she holding is already emptied.

"My lady?" Will trying to wake Tiara from her deep thought. "My lady!" Will calling again because Tiara is still not awake. "pardon." Tiara is shocked and breathes unevenly after hearing the shout from Will. Tiara realizes that the cup that she holding is already emptied and quickly puts it on the table. "My lady, you need another cup of tea?" Will holding the teapot preparing to pour into Tiara's cup.

"I think that's will be enough." Tiara declining to have another tea from Will. "I saw you are lost in thought." Will care about Tiara's dreamy state, worried that she thinking something that will be stressful for her. Tiara starts smirking and her gaze turns down on the floor. "Remembering something that unnecessary." Tiara trying to cover up what had in her mind. "From what I had seen in psychology, it must be about something sentimental." Will takes the cup and cleaning Tiara's tables.

Tiara was shocked after hearing those words from Will. That unexpected words were like giving a hint to Tiara whether Will knows that she was thinking about Ruddy or the opposite of it. "What nonsense you're talking about?" Tiara trying to cover up that's not what Will thinking about her thought. "My apologies for my nonsense. You should need to rest for recovery."Will apologizing but his face reacts invertedly from the words just lie his words about sentimental was right.

Tiara saw Will's face that reacts to her. "What that face are you making? A… Are you doubtful about what I thought?" Tiara was dissatisfied with the face that had been shown to her. "Eliza, please take our lady to her bedroom. She needs some rest." Eliza quickly enters the drawing-room and helping Tiara up. "Oi! How dare you make that face. I already told the truth, I'm not thinking about him." Tiara talks to Will aggressively, mad because Will doesn't trust her. Will smirking Tiara showing that all his words were true.

"Hey! You had death wish with me, huh." Tiara gripping her hands trying to take down Will but she was stopped by Eliza. Tiara's words were stammer while trying to fight back Eliza's block but Eliza forces more powerful and Tiara slowly be pulled by Eliza. "Don't smile like that or else you… I will punish you and… and I will you suffer." Tiara trying to threaten Will but he didn't care at all. Will just keeps smirking while he was clean up the drawing-room. "I saw it, you think I can't punish you. You better be prepared." Tiara is seriously mad at Will.
