Warrior League

The Warrior League, squads of Warriors that go to battle to fight DEMONS. Demons are creatures with fangs and wings as sharp as a knife. With their Blood demon red eyes that are terrifying than anything you've ever seen, they kill humans for the fun of it and love human blood as well. The Leagues are handpicked squads that slaughter and annihilate them, using different techniques and powers. Warriors that have amazing merits and have a certain amount of killing counts are called "Legends". But even the most skilled fighters get their lives taken by these beasts. The Demon War started 500 years ago, it happened when the 43rd king betrayed the angels and the Supreme King who were the protectors of the earth, and thus the Supreme King stopped protecting the people of the earth and Devils started roaming around eating humans. The Devils had come from the Underworld, Satan the King of the Underworld decided to use his demons to destroy the human world. The Supreme King and angels from heaven didn't want anything to do to the human world, but it was the world that they created, and didn't want it to be tarnished by the likes of demons. So they saw these acts and gave powers to different humans. These humans practiced these powers and passed them down to generations of other children, thus the League was created. Humans have been safe for many years but demons still roam around the world. Waiting for their next prey. Due to the fear of getting killed by a demon, no person would even dare join this so-called league.

"What"

"Why would you wanna join that League, you'll practically be joining your own death you know," Anne yelled.

"Lucifer you cant think of something this bizarre, you never even had formal training or even proper training," Nanny says.

"There is a legend moving into Riko Village"

"A legend"

"Yes, I can get him to train me"

"Lucifer, we understand that you want to control your demonic side, but is joining the League really worth it."Nanny said.

"Nanny I need to find out what I am, I'm tired of having these eyes define me, please let me train to join the league"

Nanny looked at Anne who was already against the whole thing. Nanny sighed.

"I'll think about it"

"Nanny!"Anne said.

"Anne this conversation is over, Lucifer, Anne eat you have school tomorrow and then you must help out at the orphanage,"

Anne shut her mouth and ate her food quietly.

After dinner, Anne didn't speak to me at all. I could understand though. Her mother was a Warrior but died on the battlefield when Anne was 1, so I know how she feels about warriors, it was Nanny who then took her in. Anne was 13 just a year older than me, but she felt like my older-sister. She would be heartbroken if I had to leave.

The next day we went to Riko Village school. I hated school, I loved to learn, but the children there were annoying, all they did was bully me.

Riko Village was a village in the south-center of Utopia Kingdom. There were many villages in the kingdom and Riko is a very prosperous but small village. The village benefited from the harvest. Our fields, plains, and fountains were amazing for growing herbs. We sold many last years. But since the war zone was close to the village, we weren't able to grow as much. They built a war-zone near our plains because it would be protected by fences, Nanny always told me to never go past the fence, she said that they would experiment with demons there, and even if a single demon went out, the whole village would be doomed.

AHH, I thought if only I can become a legend I might be able to save the village.

I looked at Nanny who was teaching at the board. Nanny made a school for the orphanage. We were learning about history. The history of the Kingdom was founded by the Heavens itself. God created the earth, also known as the Supreme King, and gave this land to the first man ever. That Man created this kingdom and ruled over it, then passed it to its heir.

The class was over and there I sneaked off.

"Lucifer where are you going, "Anne said.

"Nowhere, "I said quickly.

"Whatever I'm going to Lisa's cottage, tell Nanny ill be late for dinner"

"Ok"

Anne left and I let out a sigh of relief.

I went up the hill stepping on pounds of snow as I do. Passing threw many big hoses until I stopped at a particular one."This must be the place" I thought. The legend that moved to Riko Village had retired. He wanted to live a quiet life in the countryside and thus moved here.

I stared at the door, the house was very huge, it was like the other villager's cottage but just bigger.

I knocked and after a while a girl who looked like Anne's age opened.

"Can I help you"

"I'm looking for Mr.Keff."

The girl looked at me with a stern face.

"My uncle never said that there would be visitors."

"Bu-"

"LELE WHO IS AT THE DOOR"

An old man who looked at the age of Nanny came to the doorstep. He was tall too tall.

"Hello lad, what do you need"

"Id like to speak with Mr.Keff"

"hm...well that's me"

The man was staring into my soul, of course, he wouldn't just let me come in like that, what was I thinking.

It felt weird I never went to someone's house, especially up the mountain where the wealthy villagers lived.

"Come in then Ill make a cup of tea we can sit down and talk civilly"

"wait seriously your just letting me speak with you"

"You look quite serious so ill just go along with it."

"Thank you"

Mr.keff's house was huge it was spacious with only a few pieces of furniture.

I looked around and he noticed.

"is the house to your liking"

"yes... it's pretty"

"I grew up in Riko Village I was an orphan and would dream about living in the Riko Mountains," he said.

"really"

"yes, I'm glad I could make it happen."

I got quiet after that a little nervous.

"What is it you'd like to speak with me about lad," Mr.keff said while sipping his tea.

"I know you're a Legend"

Mr.keff looked at me a little surprised.

"and"

"Please....will you please...teach me to became a warrior."

Mr.Keff looked at me a little startled. His nice face turned a little serious.

"you know kid, becoming a warrior isn't some little game"

"I know"

"even if your strong enough there is still a possibility that you'll die"

"I know"

"Do you know how terrifying devils can really be"

"Yes-I mean I have never seen one"

The man sighed.

"There will be a lot you have to learn if you really expect to face one."

"I'm completely aware of that," I say determinedly.

"fine"

"wait really"

"come outside"

I followed him into the backyard. Mr.Keff took two swords from the fountain that was in the back yard. He then tossed me one.

"I'll teach you...but first you must beat me in a fight"

"HUH! Bu-but your a warr-"

"A warrior must face all their obstacles with confidence, don't tell me your chickening out"

This was my chance to prove that I'm worthy of becoming a warrior.

"Fine I'll fight you"
