Love Or Lies

The birds chirping from outside the window. The moon disappeared and the sun rise up revealing that it's morning already. 


The alarm ringing filled the silent. I was half awake and feeling too lazy to get off bed. 


I reached my hand to my phone, noticing that I was late for work. Without thinking twice, I jumped out of the bed and took a quick shower. 


' Today is going to be a big day for me, so I need to look pretty. '


' Hold on, I'm already beautiful. Huh, just kidding. '


I put light makeup on my face, wearing casual clothes for the meeting and sprayed perfume on my clothes. I couldn't fill my empty stomach because I was too late for work. 


I quickly grab my key, closed the door and drove to my workplace.


My workplace is not too far from my house and lucky for me, I successfully arrived there on time. 


I stopped into my office room first before attending the meeting. I took a deep breath feeling exhausted because I was too rushed today. 


Suddenly, a knock came and the door opened open revealed Naeul entering my room. 


"Did you meet our future CEO of this company? He is just returning from studying abroad. They said that he is very good-looking! " 


Naeul has been my secretary for about two years, and she's one of my best friends.


"I don't have time for this. I couldn't even take care of myself." 


She smiled and handed me a file before going to the meeting. She knows that I'm not obsessed with this topic, especially about men. 


I took my notebook with me because today I needed to present my work in front of Mr. Jeon, the CEO of the company. 


I asked Naeul, and she responded with a confident look on her face.


As I walked into the room, everyone greeted me with a smile on their faces as well as Mr. Jeon. 


He was a very affectionate person, and he trusted me a lot. I've been working with him for about 3 years, and we are kinda close to each other.


"Before the meeting started, I want to introduce you to my son who is going to be the future CEO of this company." 


Suddenly, an unknown face walked into the room wearing a black suit, looking charming in everyone's eyes. 


I didn't pay attention to his face until I heard a very familiar voice coming out from his mouth. 


" My name is Jeon Jungkook and I'm the future CEO of the company." 


Our eyes met. No words have come out of my mouth. The man who is standing in front of me is the man that I just met yesterday.
