Meeting A

Throwing it up gracefully into the air. I then caught it by a hairs breadth, handling it with caution. Then with an intense bloodlust, I shoved it down hard into the ground.

"Eh?" In a matter of seconds, the ground liquified and expanded into a wide hole. Dust flared up as the hole expanded.

Coughing, I could not believe my own eyes. "So this is its magic!" I could not help exclaim, no longer caring about being discreet.

Staring down into the hole, I wondered how big it was. But firstly, I had to inspect my body for any changes.

Which, there obviously was. Taking a selfie, I realize that my hair has grown noticeably longer by a few inches and the ends have been highlighted with a light green color, almost a chartreuse green.

My eyes however, were the most abnormal changes. My pupils now had a glowing green shade, containing a Taurus symbol with a slit down the middle.

I recalled that using the Stick made one bleed from somewhere, and so it did. It wasn't very discernible, but the place that I bled from was actually my chin.

Or well, near it. Wiping away the blood, I proceeded to look at the back of my right hand. A shining and very obvious Emblem appeared.

The bottom of it had been faded slightly, a sign that my lifespan had been shaved away. "Tsk, so this is how it feels to have great power. I have to be honest, it's very addicting." I knew that having power would change people, but even I had no idea what would happen to me.

After all I wasn't a normal human. Strictly speaking, I was an anomaly in this world. Whistling to myself, I turned around and saw something that shocked me greatly.

It was a fair skinned girl, with long, straight dark hair and short cut bangs that covered one eye. "Kekeke, to think that a man would be so disgusting." I grinned inwardly, this laugh was truly iconic.

"Who are you?!" I shouted, despite knowing who she was, she didn't. So I may as well play with her a bit. "Don't fret, I'm just a normal girl, with a secret." I saw that mischievous and smug smirk in her face, the threatening glare she carried gave me chills.

I smiled, "Isoko Anjou." She then paused for a moment to process the situation, before eventually realizing what had happened. "You.." She no longer held a playful attitude, but changed into an even more intimidating person.

"How do I know your name? It's because I know things you don't." Hearing this, her hands stopped. Anjou was about to take a Stick she carried behind her to attack me.

Seeing this I knew that I must have struck a chord with her, "Tell me, what do you know?" She inquired with an impatient tone. Truly, the school was now dangerous as the night guard was coming soon.

Noticing this, I took a gamble, "First, use your Handbell Stick to take us somewhere safe." She flinched slightly, my gamble was right.

I had guessed that she would be carrying around the Stick that allowed her to travel through space-time with her, and now that it had been confirmed, it was well worth the risk.

"I don't know how you did it. But I'll coincide for now." She held out a bell and waved it once not front of her.

Air became distorted as ripples spread across the area before me. "Come on." Anjou whispered loudly towards me, beckoning me to enter the portal, I felt nervous but I dived right in without hesitation.

Opening my eyes I discovered that I was in an isolated place with no furnishings nor any indication of being kept well. It was an abandoned apartment.

The walls were stripped off and its paint fading away, the ceiling lined with mold and fungus, making it hard to breathe.

"This is an abandoned apartment I found at the edge of the city. It's a place where we can fight without any disturbances if necessary. Of course, first we negotiate." Isoko told me unsmilingly, she was suspicious of me and was on alert knowing that I knew her.

Feeling delighted, I then responded, "Ask me anything you want. There may be a few subjects I cannot tell you, but I can do the best I can to answer them truthfully." All that I told her was the truth and nothing but the truth, only problem was, would she believe it?

She pondered over my words a bit before coming to a conclusion, "Hm, you're a pretty sketchy bastard all right. But I admit, you're pretty capable since you found out my name. So tell me, what else do you know and where did you come from?"

Anjou Isoko was a very vengeful person, so if I lied right now and she figured it out, which was unlikely, she'd probably kill me. "Of course. I know that your name is Anjou Isoko and that you're a Magical Girl, but I also know one thing about you that you'd very much like kept a secret." I placed my right index finger over my lips and took out my phone.

"Use the Handbell to throw my phone to somewhere safe." I requested her, to which she obliged but was confused about why.

"Ah, that's right you don't know yet." Then it hit me, she had no deep knowledge of the Admins during this time, taking advantage of this I decided to tell her, "Site Admins have the default ability to travel through electronics and manipulate and falsify any piece relating to Magical Girls and the Mahou Shoujo Site. One of their abilities also allows them to eavesdrop on conversation through electronics." Her eyes widened in stupefaction.

She had no idea that the Admins could do such things, "How do you know? What proof do you have to say such baseless claims?" Even though she said this, she kept averting her gaze from me and was fearful of what to come.

"Proof? Well first I know your identity of A. And Haruto." She stood there, not in wonder or amazement, but anger.

I continued, "I have no idea why you wish to destroy the Site, but I have to tell you that you cannot do it alone. You are an important piece to destroying the Site in the future and the reason why I'm here in the first place." I did not lie, all I did was twist my words slightly to accommodate the situation.

"The future?" Suppressing her wrath, she inquired what I had to do with the future, "Because I'm from the future." Again, not a lie.

"I see! That makes sense now, that must be why you know of me and my true identity. But if you're here, does that not mean we failed?" I had to give credit to her, she was not the mastermind behind the destruction plan in the first place for nothing.

"No, you and many others succeeded. But at a severe cost. Only when the last of you used her power to send herself back in time through an Deus Ex Machina did everyone else survive. But even when she had accessed all the available Sticks, she knew that she could not stop the King with only herself and many versions of her." The person I was referring to was the main character of Mahou Shoujo Site, and the one who ended it all.

I did not tell her however, about Ichi's role in all this. That was for a later time. "So she sent me. I have something Magical Girls do not, the power to destroy the King." The power I told her of, was the fact that men were the King's weakness.

It was strange and unusual and made no sense, but it was a part of the story so I had to go along with it.

"I see... Well then. Let me reintroduce myself, I am Anjou Isoko, also known as A. Now, pray-tell, who are you?"
