She must've felt someone staring at her so she looked up.
Realizing it's me, she smiled.
I smiled back and made my way towards her.
"Hey," she said when I sat next to her.
"Hey." I replied.
"Won't you get cold?" I ask, referring to her outfit.
She was wearing a loose white singlet with lace and jean shorts.
"Oh,no, I'm good, for now. Plus I have a jacket in my locker."
"Ah,ok." I reply turning to face the teacher who just entered.
Suddenly, someone taps my shoulder.
Realizing it's Heather, I turned to face her and raised and I eyebrow.
"Wanna hang out later?" she asks, a sprinkle of nervousness in her voice.
"Sure." I smile.

I had just arrived at the park where Heather and I had decide to meet.
I looked at my watch.
2:30
School ended at 2. She should be here by now.
As if on cue, Heather's car came in view.
I watched as Heather exited the car and made her way towards me.
We were both wearing our outfits from school,except Heather was wearing a hoodie now. A hoodie that looked rather familiar.
"Hey,Soph."
"Hey." I say as she sat next to me.
"Isn't that Jason's hoodie?" I added.
"Oh yeah, he gave it to me at lunch. You were right, I did get cold." she says with a smile.
I nod and she asks," So how did you get here?"
"I stole Jason's car." and we both laughed.
"What did he do?" she asked amused.
"He didn't know, he should realize approximately-" I got cut off by my phone ringing.
"Now." I finish seeing Jason's name appear on my screen.
I slide the answer button across the screen and put it on speaker.
"Oh my god,Soph, you won't believe this." he says immediately after I answered.
"What happened, Jason?" I replied, pretending to be suprised.
"Someone stole my car! And I think they took you with them cause I can't find you."
I looked at Heather, who was also trying to hold back her laughter.
"That was me,dumbass. I took your car. And if someone had stole your car and they took me with them how would I be talking to you."
Jason didn't say anything and hung up.
Heather and I burst out laughing and I'm pretty sure everyone else in the park thought we were crazy.
"Wanna get ice cream?" Heather asks as our laughter dies down.
"Yeah." I nod and we walk to the ice cream shop.

"Y'know that ice cream guy was staring at you." Heather says as we walk away from the ice cream shop after getting our ice creams.
"He's cute but nah" I say.
Heather nods and says, "Wanna go sit by the lake."
I nod and we sit on the grass infront of the lake.
As we talk, I can't help but notice how beautiful she is. No wonder Jason likes her. It's stupid to think Jason'll ever like me.
I'm not even half as pretty as her.
We talk about random stuff and get to know each other better. Turns out we have alot in common.
We decided to take a few pictures together.

"Hey, wanna go somewhere? I want you to meet someone." I say to Heather after I saw Leila's comment.
I know she's joking,of course, but still.
"Who?" she asks with a raised eyebrow.
"Her." I reply showing her Leila's comment.
"Her name's Leila. She's my childhood bestfriend." I add.
"Sure." Heather grins.
Heather and I went into our cars and made our way to the café, with Heather following behind me.
"Leila!!!" I yell as Heather and I enter the café.
We were the only ones there.
"Sophie!!!" I hear someone yell but I didn't see anyone.
Suddenly, Leila pops up from behind the counter.
"Hi,Soph." she says with a cheeky grin.
"Hey, I want you to meet someone." I say pointing to Heather.

It was currently 6pm. Leila was now closing up the café as Heather and I wait by our cars.
Heather, Leila and I had practically spent the whole day at the café.
Leila and Heather got to know each other better and the three of us became closer.
After Leila closed the café, we said our goodbyes and went home.
