Chapter: The Dark Aura

"Who is he?" Everyone whispered as they saw a guy dressed in black pullover touching his knees under which was high neck black sweater covering his chin and black jeans paired with black pointed toe leather boots.

"Look at him he's so handsome!" All females present or passing by stopped when they saw him walking on the footpath keeping both of his hands in his long coat's pocket in the night. As the wind blew now and then his black hair danced along with it making him even more good-looking.

They could barely see his face as just his brown eyes sparkled in the night under the street lights. He was walking as if he knew where he has to go. Suddenly he stopped by a luxury hotel. He looked at the multi-storeyed building by raising his head high.

"This is it." Breath vapour escaped his mouth.

His cheekbones got lifted along with his red ears as he entered the building.

"Can I get a room here?" He asked the receptionist. Her breath got hitched as soon as she saw him. Everyone present in the lobby was blinded by his dominating and dark aura.

"Yes sir, why not?" The receptionist said with a bright smile.

"For how long sir?" She asked further.

He thought for a second and said, " Not decided yet."

"I'll pay before I leave." He said monotonously.

"Sure sir, as you wish." The receptionist agreed along with him before even thinking for once.

"Your name sir?" She asked again before writing something on the register.

"In Han Gyeol." The receptionist nodded and wrote his name on the register along with the date and time and said,

"Please sign here."

Han Gyeol signed as soon as he looked up he saw the receptionist staring him. She soon came out of her senses and said,

"Sho-should I escort you to the room?" She asked further handing him the room key.

"No." He said lifting his one hand a bit.

He walked towards the lift leaving every lady gasping. The lift finally stopped on the fifth floor. He got out and started walking towards his room, room no. 507.

As he opened the door a lavishing room welcomed him. The room was huge with a huge round bed covered in a white bed sheet with a dark purple bed cover on it covering the bed's lower half. The curtains were dark purple too along with the double-seated sofa. The lights were a bit dim and with the reflection of off white walls, it gave golden vibes.

Han Gyeol walked over to the bed sat there facing the door while his hands stretched backwards. He let out a sigh and said,

"I know you're here, Kang Yu Jun."

He laid down on the bed and closed his eyes. In the black background of his vision, he could only see a red fiery fire of revenge as he closed his eyes.

"Ugh!" groaned Do Yun as the alarm rung.

Inside that small room, there is only a ventilator placed high on the wall just beside his single bed through which some rays of sunlight can pass.

Do Yun opened his eyes as he had to wake up now, he looked at the ceiling and thought about those days he had lived lavishly with his parents. How he used to wake up late on Sundays 'cause there were no errands to run such as getting ready for school or catching the bus before you miss it. He sighed thinking about it and sat upright.

"I should hurry up now." He said to himself and stood up and went outside of his small room.

Here Hyun Soo hurried herself to reach on time at the cafe. As she reached there and opened the door to go in, emptiness welcomed her.

"What is this? Why one's here?" Hyun Soo exclaimed, her voice reverberated in the cafe.

She was still standing on the threshold when a deep voice startled her,

"Move aside."

As soon as she turned around she saw Do Yun standing just in front of her. She got froze in one place. Do Yun sighed as he witnessed Hyun Soo staring at him again.

"Tch!" He exclaimed and Hyun Soo came back to reality. She blinked twice before moving aside.

Do Yun shook his head and moved inside followed by Hyun Soo. His face was blank again. He was walking to his room to keep his things there when he noticed that Hyun Soo is still following him,

"Going to follow all day?" His voice echoed.

"Hm?" Hyun Soo said and shook her head hurriedly and turned around to go towards the counter.

Hyun Soo stood at the counter looking outside the glass door probably thinking something. She let out a sigh and out of the blue Do Yun asked,

"Why are you so early in the morning?"

"Hm?" Hyun Soo replied as she looked back at Do Yun distracting her gaze from the door.

He was still standing in front of his room which was just on the opposite side of the exit door on the right side.

"Uh! That-"

"Yesterday...ma'am said to come on time and I usually miss out busses, but...I never thought I'll make it up to here too early." Hyun Soo said and a silly smile got spread over her pink lips as she shook her head thinking about her foolishness. No reply came back to her and so she started again looking at the door.

There was a deep silence for a minute or so,

"Perhaps...did you eat anything?" Do Yun asked standing just behind her his hand still on the knob of the door behind Hyun Soo which leads to the storeroom.

Hyun Soo turned around and found him standing wearing a chocolate coloured V-neck sweater above a white full shirt paired with black jeans as usual and holding a mug of coffee.

"Umm, yeah I did." Hyun Soo made an effort in lying but it all went in vain when her paunch rumbled.

Do Yun looked at his belly and back at her with a blank face and said,

"I'll get one cup for you too."

He went in and Hyun Soo covered her face with her palms as her elbows landed on the table of the counter.

"Hyun Soo! You made a fool of yourself again?!" She whispered to herself.

"And why is he roaming around everywhere?" She whispered further, and as she looked up a but she saw someone.

Someone who was passing by the cafe just...passing by, but his aura gave Hyun Soo dangerous feelings and she ended up saying,

"What a dark aura he has!"
