The red sky

As I went to the office, I ended up encountering Sally that was wearing similar clothing style as me. Before I could open the door. Sally grabbed me by my left arm. She seemed like she wanted to tell me something.

"Is something wrong, Sall?"

"Dennis, are you ok...? Like emotionally ok?"

I took a deep breath once I heard Sally's question. I then gave her a faint smile and responded her question.

"I'm fine... I just need to sort things out..."

"Dennis... Tell me the truth before you go in and my sister asks you something that will cause you problems..."

"Fine, but let's talk somewhere else."

I said to Sally. We then headed to lounge room nearby, and the doors closed behind us. We then heard the lock trigger, and we both looked back at the door.

"So, you ready to talk?"

"Ok... The thing is that... I recently died and came back to life. During that process, it kind of reverted me to my old ways, so I'm not sure on how to respond to it. And to top it off, I remember everything... from the moment I woke up in this world and to when I went to yours... So if you excuse me, I have a matter to attend to and it involves the red sky."

I said to Sally. I then proceeded to open the door by force, but Sally stopped me.

"What do you mean by the red sky?"

Sally asked. I then pointed out at the window behind her and she only saw was a clear sky.

"Dennis, are you sure you're feeling right?"

"Ok, so I'm the only one seeing this or is just like an only me thing?"

"I really don't know, but you should talk to X."

"Then get clear, I need to blow this door away."

Sally then stood ten feet away from me while I was focusing a spell on the palm of my right hand. But it felt different. I wasn't controlling the type of spell that I wanted to use. When I looked at my hand, I saw that I was casting a black fireball while I truly wanted to use ice.

"So It's going to be one of those days... So be it!"

I said out loud and started to charge at the door while placing my right hand in front. With the black fireball in hand, I slammed it hard at the door that ended up blowing it away while opening the door to the office. It caused a lot of smoke that covered our vision, but once the smoke was cleared. Me and Sally saw X looking at the window while my friends where looking at me.

"Dennis!?!"

They all said. It surprised them at my sudden entrance. Even Sally that was behind me was surprised.

"Hey, can someone explain me what is going on?"

I asked. The only one that could give me a proper answer was Nidializ that was mostly aware of the situation.

"The entire city is in lockdown, and the ns are showing up in a rapid state. We have lost contact with the other versions of yourself..."

Nidializ said while avoiding eye contact with me. I then sighed at her and called out Obliviona by extending my right arm. Then she switched to the pistol, and it got me confused.

"Okay then... do you all know something about the red sky?"

I asked while pointing out on the window. Everyone was confused except for Nidializ. It was made clear to me that she could see it as well. Then I looked over at X that was starring out on the window.

"What's wrong with him?"

"He has been acting strange for about a few hours. Then F just headed out without a word."

Dj said. The only thing that I can think of is that F went to deal with the red sky or he was the cause of it. This has a major impact on me and the other versions of myself, since usually the red sky means disaster.

"X!! Stop standing there and get a move on!! We need to get going or else we-"

"I know that!!!"

X yelled at me. He seemed mad about the current situation.

"This is just a setback... But you don't have to boss me around like that!!! Do you know how much I have to do to keep everyone on line!?! Do you!?!"

"Then stop yapping and start acting, dammit!!!"

I said to X. I then began to charge at him and ended up pistol whipping him that it launched him to the window.

"What the hell was that for!?!"

X asked me. I was not thinking straight, and I was already in the zone. I then tackled X while breaking the window, taking the both of us out of the building.

"Dennis!!"

Everyone said my name and started to head down to the first floor. Me and X were still falling, but it gave us a moment to understand what was going on.

"Dennis, do you see the red sky?"

"I guess this is an only us thing... We need to find the others before we get driven by madness."

"Then teleport us out of here."

X said to me. I then cracked the middle finger of my right hand and teleported us to somewhere far away. At during that time, everyone else made it down to the lobby and headed outside looking for us.

"Wait, a minute... Did Dennis teleported out of here?"

Claire asked out loud. Me and X then ended up at a coffee shop that was still intact.

"So what now?"

I asked X while I sat down on top of a counter. X then made himself a coffee for the both of us while thinking about what we should do.

"We can find the mimic or we wait for him to make its move. Since its you that we are facing, you would have sent a few clones to buy some time."

"That should be right... But I can't clone myself."

"That's because the mimic stole it from you, he even as well took a piece out of all of us so expect a hard fight."

X said. He then finished making the coffee and passed a cup to me.

"Thanks."

"No worries. Now is best if we can find the others..."

X said, then my left eye started to glow. Then X's eyes began to glow. This was an effect caused by the red sky.

"X, we got to go... We can't leave things as it is..."

"You damn right..."

X and I agree to solve this. We took a chug out of our coffees and headed out to get things solved.
