The tower of the forgotten world (ii)

As Dennis went into the enemy base. Armed and ready, expecting for a fight. But as he entered, a few soldiers wielding swords and rifles prepared far off from the modern or pastime. They were wielding futuristic weaponry far off from what Dennis could use. Dennis saw that most of the buildings were made of metal, meaning that it will be hard to destroy.

"Alright, let's make it simple, people. Get out of my way and I'll promise you will not die if you leave us alone."

Dennis gave it a wonderful offer, but as soldiers, they had to follow orders. All the soldiers that had rifles aimed at Dennis while the ones wielding the sword ready themselves for combat. They were all ready to die to stop Dennis from advancing.

"So be it..."

Dennis then had to solve everything with a conflict. He remembered the days where Dj once told him that things can be solved by having a conversation, but as thing are currently are. There is no room to solve things with words.

The soldiers then raged as the sword users took the front. Prepared to attack Dennis, but they saw him holding a gun in his hands and expected his actions, but it was too late. One soldier in the front went for a quick attack, but as they swung their sword at Dennis. They instantly vanished.

"Where did he go?"

One soldier asked. Not knowing from where Dennis goes. Making the rest of the group to get worried. Out of nowhere, Dennis reappeared behind the soldier that attacked him, pointed the gun to the soldier's head and pulled the trigger. Killing one soldier out of many to handle.

"It's a shame really, but I gave you all chance and you throw it away."

The soldiers that had the ranged weapons took the front and shot at Dennis, but he soon vanished if it was nothing and reappeared by hitting another soldier using his elbow and vanished. Dennis continued attacking the soldiers by vanishing and reappearing. Taking out the soldiers one by one by hitting their weak spots.

Eventually, Dennis stopped vanishing and parried an incoming soldier's sword by kicking a sword that was on the ground. Sending it towards the soldier, forcing them to guard. By doing so, Dennis charged in and pushed down the sword at the soldier, breaking it and taking the soldier down.

Meanwhile, Sin was on the other side of the base, sneaking in. He saw an iron gate that was barely open. Been fortunate to find a way in, he sneaked in with ease and saw that on his side there wasn't much activity from the soldiers.

"I guess Dennis was doing a great job making a distraction..."

Sin said. He felt everything was going all well according to plan. Suddenly, he heard an explosion that triggered an alarm. It made the remaining soldiers on his side go to investigate and he soon tailed them to figure out what was happening.

"Well, I'll be damn..."

Sin said. He was witnessing a terrifying amount of destruction. Buildings collapsing to the ground, soldiers screaming for help while he could only spot Dennis fighting the soldiers. Dennis had made a pile using the defeated soldier's bodies, making him wonder on how there were so many until a soldier snuck behind him and landed a punch in his face. When he got hit, Dennis didn't even flinch or was moved by the soldier's punch.

"Okay pal... This is goanna hurt."

Dennis said to the soldier and returned the favor and punched him hard. Sending him flying out of the area. He then looked over at the tower and saw the remaining soldiers trying to make a last stand. They all were holding swords to defend themselves. He took a deep breath and exhaled. Clearing his mind before he goes into another fight.

"Die!!"

Dennis shouted, lifting his left hand up. The flames from the buildings moved to where Dennis was standing and went up into the sky. Forming a massive fireball that Dennis could control at his will. The soldiers saw this, knowing that this will be their end. They valiantly charged in, prepared to die, and Dennis soon dropped the fireball at them, turning them all into ashes.

As a blazing path was now formed. Dennis was annoyed by it and expected more of a fight, but he soon noticed a badge that was shaped with a destroyed moon.

"Strange... This is a fallen moon badge... Only the knights promoted by me get to wear them..."

Dennis said to himself as he sensed a life sign nearby. He soon turned around and saw an injured soldier trying to escape, but Dennis didn't let him as he pointed a gun at the soldier.

"You state your name and rank!"

The soldier got scarred, turned around and went on his knees.

"Names S4TF sir! Rank one hundred in the eclipse division!"

"The hell? What kind of name is that?"

"It is my clone number, sir!"

As the soldier said. Dennis soon understood what was going on around the place.

"You know what? You can go. If you are trying to get out of here, change lifestyle. Having a life of a clone means you are disposable, but not for the ones that cherish you the most."

Dennis said to the soldier, but before the soldier could even leave. He handed over a blue key card and thanks him for sparing his life.

Meanwhile, back over with Dj and the others. On their way to the tower. They noticed something coming from the air and they saw that was a person. Their body soon landed on a tree, knocking it down completely.

"That must have been Dennis..."

Dj said. Thet all then hurried over to the place and when they arrived. They saw an open entrance with no guards and entered. Wondering what happened, they saw Dennis waiting by the entrance of what it seems to be an elevator. Dennis soon noticed them and waved. It then gave Yen joy and went over as fast as he could for a hug.

"Hey, I wasn't long for that much."

He said to his son as Dj approached and gave him a fist bump. Now that they found Dennis. They all stared at the elevator's door open and went in.
