Vol 1 : Trust Me, Honey~ ⭐

Before they were about to leave for the party, Claudia called, telling them a car would be picking up at the house so Faye didn't have to hire a taxi.

Faye questioned that, but Claudia didn't give a clear answer that made her suspicious again. As Claudia said, a number-plate car that she knew once came to her house.

Her family car.

The car stopped right in front of Faye and Denis, who had been waiting for a long time.

Faye leans her body to look inside, where there is a young black-haired man she recognizes, "Liam."

Liam got out of the car to open the door, "Miss Faye, good evening, it's been a long time since we met. Please come inside."

Faye did not move from where she was standing, instead, she asked coldly, "Before that, where are we going?"

Liam's face suddenly turned pale, "I'm sorry, Miss Faye, but I wasn't allowed to tell because it was a surprise."

"You dare to oppose me, Liam?" Faye threatened back coldly. She knew something was wrong here.

Liam's face was extremely panicked, "I'm just doing my job, Miss Faye. I'm sorry if my answer doesn't satisfy you."

Faye taps her heels. She was really not satisfied, "Answer or I will not go."

Liam took a deep breath to calm himself down. He had to obey Claudia, not Faye. Even though Faye is as scary as Claudia, "Sorry, I can't. Miss Faye doesn't have to be afraid, I'm sure Miss Faye will be happy."

Faye didn't respond. She thought for a moment observing Liam's seemingly nervous behavior.

Liam is an innocent man, at least from what she knows, but that was over a year ago. They haven't had a conversation since she lived alone, so it could be that Liam has changed.

"I thought you wanted to apologize to your Mama, Fay?" asked Denis, "don't think bad about your Mama, I'm sure your Mama is planning something good for us."

Faye didn't respond. She did intend to apologize, but she was also worried if something happened, that's normal, right? Moreover, her mother did not want to tell her why she had to wear formal clothes. There were some judgments in her head, but she wasn't quite sure.

"Honey~" Denis called, this time he was already in the car, patting the seat next to him, "whatever happens at the party, I'm with you this time. Don't worry," he said softly as he stretched out his hand to Faye and smiled sweetly, telling her that everything would be all right, "Trust me, honey~"

Faye took a deep breath.

Positive thinking.

Positive.

Faye finally took Denis's hand and got into the car.
