Rebirth of the Starlight

Keen to notice the bruise on Carla's arms and additional purple-ish knee, Leila fell on her knees and grabbed her daughter's arms gently and caressed them with teary eyes.


Carla nodded, "Alicia threw toys in my arms and Annalisa spanked me with a stick on my knee. It turned purple as I begged her to hit me again instead of Kai."


Leila gritted her teeth and was going to clenched her fist but she remembered she was holding her daughter who's already in pain, hence, she controlled herself and instead embrace her, "You did a good job..."


"I could not summon my butterflies around her... I got scared to do so... I also asked Lucy that she should not heal me yet, it would attract attention... I only told her to lessen the pain if she could while being inside, she did. So, I'm fine mom, I don't feel it," Carla comforts her mother and caressed Leila's back.
