"Daddy, my friend has a new bag, she said it was a gift from her parents for her half-year birthday! Dad! Where's my half-year birthday gift?" Gilda Theyu raised her eyebrows as she complains while eating her shrimps. 


Mrs. Theyu frowned, "What's a half-year birthday? Is that even a thing?"


Gilda Theyu's eyes widen from surprise, "What are you? A provincial girl? Of course, every year we have one birthday right? But that's boring! So people nowadays make two birthdays by splitting birthdays into half!"


"Huh?" Director Theyu made a weird face as he could not understand what this child thinking. 


Gilda rolled her eyes, "My birthday is in August right? What's half of it? February isn't? Then my half birthday is in February with the same day of my August whole birthday!"


"That's nonsense," Director Theyu shook his head, "It's just a waste of money,"
