Devils of Egypt

" Honey, I thought that you would be happy, " said Elizabeth.

" Sweety, " said Percival.

" Yes? "

" When I said that I was cold… I did not mean: TAKE ME TO EGYPT! " exclaimed the knight, as they were in the middle of the desert.

" Well… that is on you, sweety "

" How is it on me?! "

" You have to be specific about stuff like that "

Percival gave up.

The TTT, minus Eliezer(for he was staying with Holmes' parents) were in Egypt, the year: around 510 BC.

" Aren't you like a furnace in that thing? "

" No… " said Percival, as he was still wearing his armor.

" Timber " said Elizabeth, as Percival now passed out.

The two of them continued walking, having left Percival's armor behind.

" Honey "

" Yes? "

" You look thirsty, "

" No I am not "

" I was not talking about water, " said Percival, as Elizabeth had not taken her eyes off the knight's bare upper body.

" Can you blame me? " said the Detective with a wink and smile.

Percival giggled. And when this adventure was over. Elizabeth would certainly "quench" her thirst.

But for now. Wife and Husband had now arrived at Abydos.

The place was lively and pretty.

The people went about their business, and for some reason; the Knight and Detective did not stand out.

" Melons! Come get some melons for the heat! "

" Silk! The finest silk in all of Egypt! "

" Where to? " pondered Elizabeth, as she stood in the middle of the market.

" Here you go, " said Percival, as he handed her a drink.

" Thanks " said Elizabeth, lovingly, as she quenched one of her thirsts.

The Detective noticed a woman, who noticed her in return. The woman was not like the Egyptians. She had pale skin. Golden hair, and red eyes.

" Intriguing "

The woman smiled, as if she had heard the Detective.

" Let us make a deal "

Elizabeth and Percival both turned, to look upon a man, who looked like the male version of the woman.

" What deal? " asked the knight.

" A simple deal. A fair deal " said the man with a devilish smile.

The man gestured to his companion.

" If you can guess the gender of my wife, I will tell you a secret "

The Detective and the Knight both noticed the fair features of a woman.

" Well " said Percival, overconfidently; " you said that she was your wife. So, she must be a woman "

" Honey. Did you just assume someone's gender? "

" Is that your answer? "

" It can't be that easy… " said Elizabeth; " also " said the Detective, as she looked upon the "man"; " you never mentioned what would happen if we lost "

The man showed a look of surprise and respect.

" An observant one… forgive me. It must have slipped my mind "

" Like a true devil "

" If you can not guess my wife's gender. I would like the two of you to tell me who you are? and why you are here? "

" Is that all? "

" Cross my heart "

" No strings attached? "

The man shook his head.

" She is a woman "

The man's wife took off her cloak. And the Knight and Detective were now looking upon a male.

Percival was speechless.

" As expected "

" Expected? "

" The answer was obvious - too obvious. So there had to be foul play "

" So " said the man, rubbing his forehead; " you let yourself lose? "

Elizabeth nodded.

" Why? "

" Telling you who we are, and why we are here. Is a small price to pay. But, if our souls were on the line. Then that would have been another matter entirely "

The man, for once, felt like he had been tricked.

The Detective and Knight both introduced themselves.

" I would like to introduce myself " said the man; " I am Luke. And this is my wife/husband: Caenis/Caeneus "

Caenis nodded, as she had transformed back into a woman.

" And this is Lucy, my sister "

Percival started, as he beheld Lucy massaging his wife's chest.

" I suspected that you were a bit out of place "

" Guilty as charged "

Lucy leaned closer to Elizabeth's ear.

" Give in to the temptation "

Elizabeth giggled.

" Sorry hon. But you aren't my type "

Lucy showed a look of genuine surprise.

Percival pushed Lucy to the side.

" Please forgive my sister " said Luke; " she can't keep her hands to herself "

Percival glared at Lucy. While Lucy innocently held up her hands.

" They are quite the pair "

" Yes we are "

" That was not what I was referring to, " said Lucy with a wink.

Percival was about to charge, but Elizabeth held him back.

The Detective gently massaged the Knight's cheek.

" I love you "

" I love you too, " said Percival, shyly.

Luke let out a sigh of relief, as he teleported his trident away. He then gave Lucy a hard look.

" Don't give me that look " said Lucy, calmly; " you would have done the same; if you only knew how soft they are "

Luke looked towards Elizabeth. That was when Caenis jammed her husband's face into her chest.

Luke said something, which could not be heard.

Everyone made their way towards the Pharaoh, now that that whole episode was over.

Pharaoh Meryamun welcomed both knight and detective with open arms.

A feast was held. Where they talked about the recent attacks.

" A dragon? " said the knight, surprised and excited.

" I fear that one of my ancestors is displeased with me… " said the Pharaoh, a bit disheartened.

Elizabeth sipped her drink.

" Did anyone see this 'dragon'? "

" A few caught a glimpse of it "

" What did it look like? "

Meryamun paused, as he contemplated.

" It was large, as big as Apep. It had a purple vibe to it… and it kinda looked like a catfish "

Everyone noticed the odd look on the Detective's face.

" Catfish, you say? "

The Pharaoh nodded.

" I see, " said Elizabeth with a smile.

The feast was concluded. And everyone rested for the night.

Well… almost everyone.

" Smoking is bad for you, " said Amir.

" Don't tell my husband " said Elizabeth with a wink, as she was enjoying some Longbottom leaves.

" I won't tell… as long as I can have some "

The two of them sat together, filling the night sky with smoke-ships.

" What brings a son of King Arthur to Ancient Egypt? "

" My wife "

" Lucy? "

Amir nodded.

" Your wife groped me "

" She tends to do that… a lot "

Elizabeth giggled.

" Honestly. You should really take it as a complement "

" How so? "

" She is only interested in beautiful things "

The Detective showed a look of surprise. Elizabeth then nodded in satisfaction. And even she noticed the fair features of Amir.

Unfortunately. The good times were cut short, as one of the smoking-ships made its way into Elizabeth- and Percival's room.

The Detective begged the Knight not to break her pipe. The Kind Knight yielded. But Percival hid all the Longbottom Leaf.

Ra was high in the sky, as the TTT, along with Luke and Lucy, were looking for the enemy dragon.

" Where do we begin? " said Lucy, as Ra loved to make her beauty shine.

" Not sure " said Luke, as the sand loved his feet; " any ideas? "

" Why don't you ask your two friends? "

Lucy was surprised, while Luke smiled.

" Does she mean us? " asked Janus.

" I think she does, " answered Amun.

" Guys? " said Luke.

" I am sorry. But I have nothing " said Janus.

Amun paused.

" What is it? " said Lucy.

" He is coming "

The dragon came bursting out from the desert.

Everyone quickly took cover, as the monster spurred out fire.

" As I thought, " said the Detective with a satisfied grin.

" Who is it?! " yelled Percival.

" Narmer "

" The First Pharaoh " said Amun.

The dragon circled around.

Percival took out his shield.

" That won't help "

" Honey. I am a knight. And that is a dragon. I know what I am doing "

Elizabeth giggled.

" Honey. Let them handle it "

" How? "

" It takes a dragon to take down a dragon "

Luke and Lucy both transformed into dragons.

An was now an all-out dragon brawl.

As Luke had Narmer pinned down. Lucy transformed back into a humanoid. She then brought down her scythe. Severing Narmer's soul.

The Horla Hunter vanished.

And a few days were spent in a thankful Egypt.

Luke and Lucy both looked on, as Clepsydra vanished in the flow of space and time.

" Dad! " exclaimed an excited child.

Luke picked up his son: Coronus(King of Lapiths).
