Escape
CeCe's POV
I woke up in a dark cell. My vision is getting clear now. I turned my head at left side and spotted Caramba. He didn't had his suit and he was sitting with his knees close to his chest and arms wrapped around them. "Caramba" I said weakly. He looked towards me,"Cece. You're awake." he said and came towards me and helped me to sit up. "Ah you're awake princess". A fimiliar male voice said. I looked at the direction from where that voice came and saw Steven who was leaning on a wall outside this cell. ,"Why did you betrayed us Steven. We believed you, I believed you!" I screamed at him. "You should have trusted your captain. He was a good detective. Nearly found out what I was upto. But alas what happened to him. And to answer your question this was all planned. I was sent to get you all captured. Although all of this was planned by me. Everything including from earning your trust in a level that you all will believe me over your captain to those small accidents to turn Zak less effective in battles. And now you'll ask why or what is the reason? So the answer is power. Skulivur has promised me the sea of Beru in exchange for my help. My job was to lure and trap the 7cs and I did it perfectly. Now I soon will be the king of Beru and there won't be anyone to save them. I just need to find and handover your captain Zak to Skulivur and our deal would be complete. But don't worry I will take you with me, as my slave princess." Steven said and walked away laughing. I just sat there not knowing what to do. I felt so many emotions crawling inside me. I felt heartbroken, betrayed, sad and ashamed. There was no hope now. No chance that I could fix this. I wish I had listened to Zak that day. I wish he was with us. "It's all my fault." I said in a low voice and sobbed. "It's not your fault CeCe. We have to be strong now. If we can somehow escape from here we will be able to do something." Caramba said. "But how can we do that ?" I asked. "As much I remember we are currently in the sea of Beru. A few hours ago they forced me to do some repairing in this outpost. I have learned some stuff about ventilation system in here. We can use them to go to the dock and steal one of there ships and breakout of here. Then we can try to find help. Ok" Caramba replied. I found a little bit of hope after hearing those words and seeing that look of determination on his face.
"Hey greeny come here." Someone said from outside of our cell. I saw at the direction from where the voice came. There were two skeletons standing at the gate. "I have to go Cee. I will see you in a few hours." Caramba said before he left the cell with those skeletons.
( Two hours later)
I was laying on a makeshift berth in the cell. After caramba left it's been very quiet for past two hours. The only noise in this area was footsteps of patroling skeletons and their whispers. I was thinking about how and what to do after we escape from this place. I might be the second smartest in the team but I am not a leader. Only now I understand what Zak had to face everyday. I have to make a plan for just once and it's so much stressful and Zak went through this everyday but always put up a happy face. After a lot of thinking I finally came up with one plan. Some how reach Marituga and find Zak. Only he can help us in this situation.
I just hope he can forgive me for all the hurtful things i said to him. "Now get inside greeny." I heard a skeleton to say. Than the gates opened and Caramba enters. After that a skeleton closes the gate and walks away. "So, you made any plans on what to do when we get out of here while I was gone?" Caramba asked. "I think we shall go to Marituga and find Zak."
I replied. "That's the most obvious thing to do now." Caramba said. Just then two skeletons appeared at the gate and slide two bowls inside our cell through a slot under the gate of the cell. "Your food is here." They said coldly and walked away. "Ok let's eat now we will try to escape later." Caramba said and took a bowl and started eating with a spoon which came with the bowl. I picked up the other one. It's filled with a white slimy substance(A/N:- this is the breakfast Neo ate in Matrix 1). I took the spoon and started eating.
(15 minutes later)
We have finished our eating and according to Caramba it is also night time. Perfect time to escape from here. Caramba is right now unscrewing the pannel of ventilation shaft in our cell while I am standing guard at the gate. making sure that no one is watching us. "Ok it's done." I heard caramba saying. I then followed him through the ventilation shaft until he reached another pannel and unscrewed it. We entered the room and found out that it is a armory and there was Caramba's suit in a corner of that room. "Let's grab what ever we need and head out of here." Caramba said and walked over to his suit and put it on. I picked up a pistol and attached it to my belt. Then we left the room and started roaming around the corridors of this place. Caramba is leading the way while I am guarding him. But when we were going towards a turn we stumbled upon a group of skeletons. "Uh hi." Caramba said and chuckled nervously.

Third person P.O.V
Cece quickly pulled out her pistol and shot those skeletons. "Caramba we we don't have all the time in the world. Lead the way. I will cover you." CeCe said to caramba. Caramba nodded and started to lead her out to the deck. The skeletons were alerted by the sounds of gun shots. They tried to stop them but whoever came in there way either got shot by CeCe or got punched pretty hard by Caramba. Soon they reached the gateway leading to the dock. But someone shot CeCe in her left leg causing her to fall on ground. "Are you ok Ce." Caramba asked with concern. "Yeah I am fine. It's just a flesh wound on my left thigh." CeCe replied "caramba you need to go I will hold them back as long as possible." CeCe told Caramba and grabbed her gun. But Caramba cought her arm and looked in her eyes and said "No. You have to go Ce. I will distract them. Go find Zak. And this is for your journey." Caramba said and opened his suit and handed her a pouch. "It's all of my saving. It's not much but it will be enough for a few days. Now GO!" Caramba said and ran towards another direction distracting the skeletons. CeCe tried to stop him but it was too late so she some how got up and went towards the dock. When she reached the dock she somehow managed to start one of the boats those skeletons use and tried to escape. But other boats soon came chasing her. Thay started to shoot her. Knowing that there is no way that she can handle them she crashed her boat in nearby rock and jumped out of it before the intact. She started to swim as fast as she could while staying deep under water. After some time she blacked out because of pain and exhaustion. When she woke up again she found her self on the shore of Marituga. She slowly got up and coughed a bit then looked at the lighthouse with determination. "I will find you Zak." She whispered to herself and started walking towards the town.
