Complexity of existence

The action was about to unveil, everyone was in front of their cages, looking at the sky. The guards started changing the shift, it's time to start our escape. The guards on this floor got quickly knocked out from consciousness, the cells they were at took them inside of their room and changed clothes.

Then they slowly started opening the rooms but no one left yet, they came with two people to our room, one of a frail build and one of a decent one, both black hair.

"This is Luke and this is Seph, Luke can give you large amounts of dark and Seph can decrease its usage, as you know the guy to the left will conceal your powers. Create the mirror. Keep it for some time until we will be done down there." The man said and left our small cell, he screamed out above to create the stairs, they went down further… To do the same what they did here just now. Matthew sat down and looked at the two people that came into our room.

"How long can we keep it up?" Matthew asked people in front of him, standing in the sheer complexity of their minds. Is that they don't know or rather they don't want to know.

"It should work long enough." An answer left their dirty, yet, wet lips. Answers came out from both of them, the connection of minds to a great extent, completely overtaking the person they answered. Luke then put his hands on Matthew's back, Seph on his arm, then a dark aura started surrounding us. Another person, from right beside our own selves, was covering our small operation from being discovered. A great wall then appeared in the middle, a platform of sorts, it hovered above, the sun disappeared, darkness surged throughout the empty rings. People started flooding out on the great path made from sand, all prepared for departure. The sweat coming down from Matthew's swollen forehead, wrinkles on his dwarven head.

I then followed all of them, looked at the rings, minor screams from the rings under us but, people started slowly appearing on other circled paths under us. Army, a lot of people there, more than on our floor. They all submerged in pain the further down it went, the darker, the less I saw. The more pain could be seen on those circled paths. Then, everything went quiet, light appeared at the bottom of the pit, from down of the abyss. Something no one expected, in this dark, there was a slight light and brightness, it all then blew up making a great pillar of a white stream. Who was that? Are those the people from down there?

The mirror on the upper floors didn't disappear, but a man started floating up. I saw him, in a mundane suit of a guard… He looked at us, his eyes white, vines popping up. Power overflowing from within him. A glow almost like a wave also flowing out from his white eyes.

"You all, go back to your cells if I may spare you!" The madman screamed, I felt anger inside of his tired and almost dead voice. An arrow flew by, it pierced his throat, and started falling down. He tried to be a hero for the prison… Too bad. Someone already killed him, in this place, giving a second chance to those people, those that were scarred and those that were wronged, those that are just… Villainous. We all were looking at the body of a nonbeliever falling down into the pit of depravity. Losing his status, losing himself, not existing anymore.

A single scream from the last rings, the inferno of our purgatory. A string of dark went by in the middle, destroying Matthew's mirror. The stairs themselves moved into the right position, people from the lowest floors started appearing, just a small trace of the dark left in front of us, the strong flew by. Then we followed and the rest started flooding the hundreds of guards on the upstairs of this facility. The chained people, the unchained, the infinite. The powerful, the sinful, the wasteful. All of the people started leaving, the gate went down in mere seconds. Everyone in a rush, guards still unable to react, a scream from their general left its core.

"Don't you dare put your hands on them! I will do it myself." A cocky man against hundreds of masterful geniuses of the lowest floors. Looking at us from up above, his eyes are hateful. The dark aura around him, almost like a spiky ball that is about to pop and release the spikes. Everyone was behind the gate, the path right behind us, but in front, the general was standing on the walls made of wood. He showed his chest, chin in the air exposing a lot of true confidence.

"Do you think you can stop us now? Look at us, the path is right behind us, look how many there are. You can't fight us!" One of the men screamed, a lousy shallow, and the old man screamed loudly. An army of people, a thousand at least, all standing and looking at him. Just a few started running but… They were quickly disintegrated by an unseen force.

"Do you dare to challenge me?!" He screamed, a person thinking he is a god, he isn't a god. He is just a regular man with irregular power. Looking down on us like a lord or king that's looking at his poor folk, not caring, rather, hating. Making a face with clear hate on it, red even. Then, he slit his finger, a drop of blood was falling down. We made a shield. The shield from before… The dream!

"Create a shield under us!" I screamed, everyone followed knowing that there is no point in not listening, they made one on the side and one under is. But the droplet of blood wasn't falling, at least not in that direction, it was floating into the air. But when I noticed it, a dark ball struck the drop of blood. Lazers of some sort started falling down from up there… Arrows, pain, but no screams. Everyone… Besides, I was hit. The dream from yesterday, happened. But it wasn't exactly the same. I just… Killed all of them. I killed all a thousand people in this place. I murdered them. One half of us was murdered, the other… Almost, and I, was the only one left with normal functions. Estel Marcus and Matthew next to me, Lucas at the end also alive. But those 3… Lost their legs, they can't move…

"Guys! Come one! I will help you! Use your powers to leave!" I screamed at them whilst hearing a demonic laugh behind my back, the laugh of an insanely powerful being, or rather human. Their eyes, soulless, but they are still alive. Their breath is at its end…

"I can't go…" Estel answered while coughing intensely, I had his hand inside of my palm, it was slowly losing its grasp upon my own grasp. He was losing himself, the man… He got slashed in half, the rest got annihilated, not even ash was left. Just nothingness with a dark crater and sheer dread packed dark sand. Sense of genuine sadness and fear has infiltrated my own mind, taking it over.

------------------------------

I woke up, back in the cell, once again. Looking at the ceiling, yellow. A color of piss that I felt on my face, from somewhere, embarrassing. Unknown thing, a piss from something I have no clue about, nothing in my mind worked as it did. Why am I here again? I saw them die… Twice, what's this all about?

I stood up from my bed, looked at them, at everyone. They were still alive, nothing happened, at least it seems like it. Only I… Do remember what happened. A painful fate of those that were chained here, painful truth of those that perished into nothingness, yet, everything is here. The prisoners, my friends, my brother. All of them are still here… What is going on?

"Are you okay Hayden?" Estel asked, his voice, a voice so true that not even a scar could change it. I embraced him with a single tear falling down my eye, I embraced Matthew, and at the sorrowful end. I hugged Marcus, his face was litten up, I noticed, it's the time before we got breakfast. Just what is going on with me…

Once again, did I have a small glimpse of the outside, the circles, the people, the pain? Everything is still lively even though I saw all of it fall into a dark pit of an overpowered genius, the general, a man despising all of creation because all creation is human. He hates us, he resents us, but never shows it to us. This is the riddle of his face… You see it, yet, you don't know anything behind his dark eyes. His long and black jacket, all holds it in place invisible to common folk and even those that are far from the community.

I myself. Can't see.
