Breaking a promise

I was running through the city at regular speed to not catch anyone's attention. I have no idea how Lily can be this quick, she ran out of the city in a minute or less. I think even her strength has changed into something else. Something much more natural or a lot better in a way. She is no longer in the body of a frail doll. A doll that changed into a human, she is now becoming a real humanoid creature. She was in the forest. In the middle of a decent-sized forest. However, something was wrong. Most of the ground was covered with a weird material. It looked like roses with spikes. It was all over the floor. Everywhere in the forest. I saw even a few guards there. They were on the ground, I think they were either dead or not conscious. Those vines have toxins in them. I see a few flowers that explode with a large amount of black gas every now and then. The vines were getting over the corpses of the guards. She is emanating an astounding amount of dark energy.
