Chapter 7

Jungsik was working on some paper works when Hosung came inside with a file on his hand. He casually entered inside without even caring to knock the door and throw himself on Jungsik's couch with a deep sigh.

"Hyung, shouldn't you be knocking the door before entering my room?" he glared at Hosung who was already in the verse of sleeping.

"Jungsik-ah. I'm really tired today ok? So let me go early, hmm? And..." he turned his head towards Jungsik, "and why do I have to knock the door for entering my best friend's room? It's not like you always knock my door when you entered my room," he got up to sit straight with his arms crossed.

Jungsik rolled his eyes and tried to ignore the glare from the other, "Hyung, till when are you going to give me that glare?" he finally gave up.

"Until you find me a girlfriend before you get married. Or... treat me a meal," he looked so proud of himself with what he just told, smiling with eyes closed and chin slightly upwards.

Jungsik rolled his eyes, keeping the papers in his hand back on the table and stood up from his chair, "Ok. ok. Fine. Let's go. I'll treat you the meal."

"Woah. Really? Are you serious?" Hosung stood up with wide eyes, "are you really going to treat me a meal? For real? Woah!" he dramatically dropped into his kness to the ground and raised his hand up in the air closing his eyes, "Woah! Hosung-ah! Finally! Finally, your dream of getting a meal treat from Jungsik is going to fulfill today after 2 months of intense worshipping. You've lived long and well," he wiped his invisible tears.

Jungsik rolled his eyes for the nth time at his friend's over dramatic acting, "Are you coming with me now or still going to worship for another 2 months?" he said before start walking away keeping his hands in his pocket.

Hosung jumped up from the ground real quick and tried to follow his friend's quick pace, "Hey! Let's go together!"

Jungsik's driver parked the car in front of a cafe. He checked his watch just when got down from the car and it was 5:25pm.

He asked his assistant to arrange an appointment with his wedding designer after his work schedules and it was supposed to be at 5:30pm.

He sighed in relief before he enter the cafe and looked around, searching if the person he's supposed to meet already arrived or not. But almost everyone in the cafe were with their own companies and didn't seem to be waiting for anybody.

15 mins passed after he took a seat by the corner of cafe. He was almost done with the whole cup of coffee he ordered while waiting but still no one show up. He had been checking his watch for nth times already. He's someone who manage his time very strickly and these kind of things irritates him the most. He took out his phone from his pocket and started scrolling through it to eat some time.

"Ch-Choi Jungsik-ssi?"

A voice called out hisname from behind, which he supposed it to be the person he has the appointment. He turned his face and was about to give a little irritating look for not coming in time and making him wait for too long, but only for his eyes to be filled with shock and surprise.

He gasped when both of their eyes fixed to each other.

"Why is she here again?" he asked himself, because who would've thought he would see her again? Like this? So he just sat there, staring at her, scared to even blink because everything might disappear if it's only his delusion.

"Are you Mr. Choi Jungsik?" the person asked again.

Jungsik never knew his name sounds that beautiful until he heard it slipping from her lips, calling his name with the voice that enchanted him from the first day.

"But how did she know my name?"he asked himself again, eyes still fixed with the eyes that looked like clear bright pearl.

Never knew she would look even more etheral in her pale pink dress, something very different Jungsik used to see before in the roadside as well as in the cafe and in the flower shop.

"Excuse me? Are you Mr. Choi-- uh, sorry. I think I got the wrong perso--"

"N-No... I am... I mean, yeah, I'm Choi Jungsik," he said when he realized.

"Ah?" she sighed in relief.

"I thought I was-- Uh... anyways, hello, I'm Kim Jangmi from Kim Delicate Flower," she lend her hand out for a handshake.

Kim Jangmi? Even her name is beautiful. Just like her and Jungsik was busy admiring her that he forgot to lend his hand for the handshake.

She looked taken aback little when she didn't get any response from him. Maybe he got irritated because she came late?

"Ah, That... I'm really sorry I couldn't make it in time. Actually, my car broke down on my way here. So I had to call and wait for my sister to drive me till here. But, I won't repeat this kind of unprofessionalism next time. I'm really sorry," she clarified herself, thinking she messed everything up.

"Uh, No. It's fine actually. No problem," Jungsik quickly took her hand for the handshake before she could take her hand back.

Never knew there would come a day where he doesn't care about his own rule of perfect timing.

He wouldn't lie, but he was too happy that the hand he once wished to hold was really in his grip. It felt softer than he thought it would be and the way it fits perfectly with his felt so right.

"Nice to meet you Kim Jangmi-ssi," he shook the hand gently and smiled when his eyes meet those now glowing relieved eyes.

"Thank you so much Choi Jungsik-ssi," she bowed down several times. Guess she's relieved that he excused her for being late, which Jungsik found the happy look on her face cute.

"Please have a seat," he invited her to the chair in front of him.

"Ah. Yeah. Thank you," Jangmi bowed again and was about to sit but something stucked. Their hands were still holding each others the whole time.

"Oh, sorry," Jungsik let go of the hand as quickly as he could, not wanting her to feel uncomfortable, but, somehow kinda missing the warmth of the other's hand.

"I think we have met before? In the shop? Or maybe not?" she asked after taking her seat.

"Oh. Yeah. We have," he nodded, but no one's gonna tell her it's his fourth time seeing her.

"Actually, that was our Kim Delicate Flower building. We have our office in upstairs and we have the shop in front," she said with a smile while her hands were busy taking her laptop and some paper works from her bag.

Out of all, it had to be only her shop that was open that day? Not that he regret going there. He just find it surprising it always had to be her wherever he goes, "Uh, is that so? I didn't notice that. I just entered randomly because that was the only shop I could find."

"It's fine. Maybe you were in a rush and didn't pay much attention. But I never thought you would be my client. What a coincidence," she smiled.

"Anyways, this is what I prepared," she turned her laptop towards him to show her work, "and... here is a rough sketch of the probable decoration that can be done for the venue that you recommended. I went there to check and this is what I could prepare till now," she said as she hand over the sketch work to him.

But he was beyond amazed with the sketch when he took a glance of it and she called it a rough sketch? Every single inch of her decoration styles was so detailed, it looked perfect. People who gave the reviews were not lying when they said it's one of the best wedding designer.

"It's perfect," he said with eyes still on the paper.

"So, you like it?" she smiled when he nodded, "That's a relief then. But there's still have more to add. Uh, and for this side, I think we can...."

She was speaking something but all Jungsik was able to focus was on her beautiful hands tracing along the paper while her voice felt like a melody to the rythm of her moving hands.

He don't even remember when his eyes got shifted from the hand but he found them already on her face and wondered how could she look so beautiful and calm yet so cute at the same time?

Because with only the small table being the barrier between them, the small features of her face could be seen more clearly when she bend her face forward closer to him while trying to show him her works.

"And that's all. And, if you want anything more to add or change, then you can tell me so I can work on it," she said as she look up from the paper only to meet her eyes with Jungsik's glowing eyes that were already fixed on her for the whole time.

He felt how his heart keep skipping it's beats when he realize their faces were only a few inch away from each other with his mind being occupied by the only one question,

"What are you doing to me?"
