Bloodline purity

After successfully killing 8 more dark grey dogs, I got a notification telling me that my bloodline had reached 100%.

[Do you want to Evolve?]

I quickly thought yes and blinding pain shot through my body like fire. I could feel my bones elongated and my skin stretch. My canines grew larger and I could barely keep them in my mouth now.

I checked my status and it read

Name Jake Lv4. Race: Evolver

Class: Necromancer Species: White Dog

Strength:32. Intelligence: 16

Wisdom: 24. Dexterity: 26

Vitality:28 Charisma: 6

Skills: 5 Luck:?

I had invested most of my points into strength but the fusion of the other dogs allowed my other stats to stay quite high.

Having killed all the dark grey dogs in the area, I decided to search for larger prey. After about 20 minutes of searching, I found a white dog pack that was feeding on a massive bear they had killed. The pack consisted of about 4 dogs so I decided it was the best time to test out the strength of my undead minions.

After pulling out of my death dimension, I ordered them to attack the pack of white dogs. They charged with delight at the ability to serve me, they all used (leap) and (bite) on the unsuspecting pack. Despite the high levels of damage and the greater numbers, the white dogs were not one-shotted as I expected. Instead, they managed to kill one of my minions each with swift bites to the neck which crushed their windpipes and dealt extremely heavy damage.

The remaining minions retreated slightly and proceeded with caution, I ordered to attack one of the dogs altogether instead of attacking the entire pack. Within seconds my minions were able to inflict heavy damage.

Damage numbers were displayed in front of me, the dog's once site fur was stained red. And after it died and gave up its XP I instantly used necromancy to gain a powerful ally.

Seeing their brother killed and raised again, the White dogs were terrified and tried to run. I wouldn't let them.

"Get them"

I barked at my minions and they leapt into action. Literally. They sped off towards the fleeing dogs and easily killed them, once again my army gained warriors. I then used (fuse) on the corpses of the white dogs and gained 5 stat points in each attribute.

As I was preparing to leave a prompt filled my vision.

[there is still one enemy viable for necromancy]

I then remembered the huge bear that the dogs were feeding on. Like a child, I giggled with delight at the possibility of adding it to my roster of minions.

Dragging my paws over the grass I used necromancy on the bear.

[Necromancy failed! You have 2 remaining chances]

I tried again

[Necromancy failed! You have 1 remaining chance]

With ire, I growled "Rise!"

[Necromancy Successful! You have summoned a level 6 Dire Bear]

The beast was huge it towered above me and radiated an aura of power and death, I then put all my summons into my death dimension.

I wonder if I can use (fuse) on the bear?

I activated the skill.

[Fuse successful! You are now a Dire Bear Lv4]

I screamed in pain, it was more painful than anything I had felt before, the bone structure in my face changed and my bones grew. All my white fur fell off and brown fur replaced it within moments, and claws sprung from my paws.

I lay on the grass panting and hoping I never felt pain like that again.

I checked what the time was after finally regaining my composure and saw that I had about 10 minutes until I would have to get off. There was a time dilation so every hour in the real world was 10 hours in the game, I had only been playing for half an hour but I knew my parents would be worried if I spent hours in my room after school.

[Thank you for playing! I hope you play again soon!]
