Beggin' On Your Knees

"Is it too larby for you? Not larby enough?" Aunt May sat across from Peter in the Thai restaurant, noticing he wasn't talking to her, "How many times do I have to larb before you say something. You know I larb you."

Peter sighed heavily upon listening to his talking about how much she larbed him through his mind, drifting away from what his aunt was saying.

Thinking about the "internship," which girl he would be taking to the homecoming dance, and balancing things out to make them work out.

Since he didn't want to have to worry about many things other than what was happening right now in front of him.

"Sorry, I'm just distracted from the Stark Internship is all Aunt May," Peter answered her, finally after breaking away from his thoughts.

Aunt May shook her head, thinking it wasn't the best idea in the world, "Got to be honest with you, not a fan of that Tony Stark...." Peter's mind wandered towards the TV, seeing the news broadcast about the robbery at the atm.

May noticed her nephew got distracted by something turning around in her chair, looking over at the TV then turning her attention back to Peter.

"You ever see something like that, you turn the other way," Aunt May said to him with a serious tone in her voice.

It was a tone Peter knew all too well since he knew she wasn't messing around with this since it wouldn't be something to change.

With him nodding, "Yeah, I will, plus I need a new backpack."

May looked up at him with a confused look on her face, "I'm sorry, what? That's 5 already. I don't understand how you keep losing them like this?"

The waiter walked back over to the table, placing a house special dessert next to May smiling at her.

"Sticky rice pudding," the waiter said to her, giving her a wink, "It's on the house."

"Oh...thanks," Aunt May said before looking down at the dessert, "That was nice of him."

"I think he larbs you," Peter said before May gave him a look of shock on her face, which caused him to smile.

After the restaurant, they headed back home, entering the apartment, hugging his aunt before going into his room. Looking out the window noticing Jess's curtains were closed this time, sighing lightly, knowing she was asleep now. Crashing on his bed falling asleep sighing lightly before getting to sleep.

The next day Peter and Ned were walking towards school to see the crime scene where Peter had been fighting the criminals. Ned shocked at what happened, knowing if Peter wasn't able to be Spider-Man and dodge out of the way fast enough, he could have died. While at school all day Ned nonstop asked Peter several questions about how this even happened for one and if he could get this type of powers too.

Peter would tell Ned to be quiet though it didn't stick for only a couple of seconds before he would be going back to talking again. While in gym class, Ned still asked questions about him being Spider-Man and the Avengers. Wondering what it was like to meet all of them since he never had the chance to do something like this honestly. Finding to be awesome, Peter could have abilities like this and never tell him or Jess about it now, wondering if she knew?

"Have you told Jess about it?" asked Ned, which out of all the questions his friend had been asking him all day.

Peter had been shocked about the question Ned just asked him, not sure how to answer this?

"Well...um...not exactly? I mean, I didn't tell you or Aunt May about this?" answered Peter while continuing the sit-ups while Ned held his feet down.

Ned shrugged before listening to Liz and her friends talking about the Avengers then Liz talking about Spider-Man, which caught both Peter's and Ned's attention with her friends teasing her about how Liz was crushing on Spider-Man. The pair looked at each other then looked back over at Liz, telling them she wouldn't care who he was, just the person they were on the inside.

Ned blurted out without thinking, "Peter knows Spider-Man."

If you dropped a pen in the room upon Ned shouting this out in the open, then you would because the whole gym got quiet with everyone's eyes staring over at Peter and Ned.

"They're friends," Ned continued while looking over at Liz's direction.

Flash jumped down off the rope walking over to them, smirking, "Yeah, right, just like the coach and Captain America are "friends."

Not going to lie if this were you and having a friend like Ned, who blurts out something about you, no one else needed to know. You would definitely feel like how Peter must have felt in this moment right now since he had to figure out a lie on the fly.

"I may have met him a couple of times, but it was through the Stark Internship," Peter said, sighing, "Yeah, well, I'm really not supposed to talk about it."

Looking at Ned with a grimace look on his face before Flash started to get suspicious of this right now since he didn't think Parker was telling the truth. Oh, if he only knew, honestly, can't you picture the look on Flash's face if he ever found out Parker really happened to be Spider-Man.

"You should totally come to Liz's party tonight, and bring your personal friend Spider-Man with you," Flash suggested making him feel more embarrassed about this.

Liz knew Peter never really came to the parties honestly, "It's fine. I know Peter is way too busy for parties anyway."

"No, you'll be there, won't you Parker," Flash said before nudging him with everyone else filing out of the gym once the bell rang.

Jess had been listening to the conversation, thinking about doing something for Peter since she would be going out of her comfort zone for this. Heading out of the gym, not realizing her best friend was Spider-Man though she was getting tired of Flash being disrespectful towards her friend. Michelle walked with Jess. Since they were in 6th grade, they had been friends since she admired what she did for Ned and Peter.

Knowing she was a true friend and a rare person to find in your life someone who would protect her learning of her plan to burn Flash. Liking it, knowing she would be apart of it when it came to the DJ's techno stuff, thinking it would be something else. Back at the gym, Peter was frustrated with Ned for telling everyone he knew Spider-Man as if he didn't have enough to worry about.

"What are you doing," asked Peter confused and frustrated with him.

Ned shook his head, "Didn't you hear what Liz said? She has a crush on you."

Peter paused for a moment, realizing it before looking back at Ned with an awestruck gaze on his face, "Dude, if either one of us has a chance with a senior girl, it's you."

Later on that night, Peter and Ned were dropped off by Aunt May, trying to figure just what was going on with Peter lately. Jess and Michelle had gotten there ahead of time in order to ask Liz if it would be okay if Jess performed a song? Liz didn't mind telling her not right now, but she could later on when everyone got here, which was okay for Jess to set her plan in motion.

"This is going to be awesome, Jess," Michelle said, smirking upon knowing she was going to be doing something she never her friend would do.

Jess was nervous since she never sang in front of people, let alone telling Peter about it, "Yeah, I know, but I'm shaking really badly."

"Don't freak the freak out okay, breathe, wait until Peter and Ned walk in and once Flash starts to make fun of Peter. That's when the plan is set," Michelle said, noticing Peter; it wasn't hard for her to tell Jess was crushing on Peter.

Jess wore her long wavy brown into a messy bun with it slightly curled while dressed in a long-sleeved lace shirt with a purple sequin tank top over the top of it, black skirt, seamless fishnet tights, and black ash Thelma wedges.

Noticing Peter and Ned walking in as she walked over to them, "Hey guys, nice to see my two best friends showed up; I thought I was going to be stuck alone all night."

Ned was able to say "hi" to her though Peter was shocked by her outfit, thinking she looked amazing in her outfit, looking like a lovesick puppy.

"Hey---hey Jessie, you look great," he stuttered, having a goofy grin on his face before Flash noticed him.

Michelle had already snuck over to the DJ equipment giving her the thumbs up before turning off the machine. Jess smirked with everyone confused, and Michelle took over using a laptop with some background music they had worked on.

"Sorry for the interference, everyone but this is a song for all you ladies out there, especially for the ones, who know our dear friend Flash Thompson," Jessica explained, walking over to walk gripping his shoulder hard.

Flash grimace before trying to talk into the microphone, "My mic doesn't work?"

"Bummer," Jess said, a stern look on her face before looking over at Michelle, "Let's go, Michelle!"

Michelle turned on the music for Jess in order to get started to know this was going to be awesome.

"What song is this Jess," asked Flash, confused while not sure what the heck was going on.

Jess smirked at him with her true intentions, "Just listen; I think you'll hate it."

Jess started to get in tune with the music then started to sing, which shocked everyone, including Peter and Ned.

You had it all

The day you told me

Told me you want me

I had it all

But let you fool me

Fool me completely

I was so stupid

To give you all my attention

Cause the way you played me

Exposed your true intention

Peter stood there, and everyone else listening to her singing, thinking she has a beautiful voice with everyone starting to bounce to it. Michelle was making sure Flash didn't get away from the DJ equipment.

And one day

I'll have you beggin' on your knees for me.

Yeah one day

I'll have you crawling like a centipede.

You mess with me

And mess with her

So I'll make sure you get what you deserve.

Yeah one day

You'll be beggin' on your knees for me.

So watch your back

Cause you don't know or aware when I could get you

I set the trap, and when I am done.

You will know what I have been through

So oh, mister player, do you feel like the man now.

And I bet you're nervous cause this song makes you freak out.

Everyone covered their mouths on the second version while dancing to her song, thinking this was cool, for they had no idea she could sing like this? Jessica and Michelle were making sure Flash didn't try to escape since he did try to get away a couple of times.

And one day

I'll have you beggin' on your knees for me.

Yeah one day

I'll have you crawling like a centipede.

You mess with me

And mess with her

So I'll make sure you get what you deserve.

Yeah one day

You'll be beggin' on your knees for me.

I know I'll be bitter.

But Imma gonna drive you under

Cause you don't, don't deserve happy ever after

But what you did to me, after you told me.

"You never felt that way"

It was only just a game.

You had it all

And one day!

And one day

I'll have you beggin' on your knees for me

(beggin' on your knees)

Yeah one day

I'll have you crawling like a centipede

(like a centipede)

You mess with me

And mess with her

So I'll make sure you get what you deserve

Yeah one day

You'll be beggin' on your knees for me

Everyone continued to dance to what Jess was singing, with Peter thinking she was awesome and finding it cool. Once she finished the song everyone clapped and cheered while Flash felt awkward and embarrassed.

Michelle stood there with her arms folded with a neutral expression on her face, "Ouch! You just got burned."

Flash finally got away from the girls and the DJ section with Michelle taking over with Jess walking over to Peter and Ned.

"I didn't know you could sing Jess," Ned said while Peter couldn't get any words out right now.

Jess tilted her head to the side, "Awe, thanks. Besides, Michelle was apart of it; I figured some of the girls here are probably bitter with Flash. So I came up with a song, and Michelle helped with the instrumental part."

"That was amazing, Jessie. You have a pretty voice, and you come up with this?" Peter asked her, wondering how come she would do this for him?

Jess smiled softly at him knowing Peter would be confused, "Thanks, Peter, and yeah, I did since I was getting tired of Flash thinking he could pick on all the time. You're my friend, and I don't allow people to bully friends and get away with it."

Before she walked away to eat and drink, she felt the need to reward herself with food. Peter was lost in staring at her until his spider-sense went off, causing him to head outside to see a purple burst of some sort off in the distance. Knowing he would have to check it out since he wouldn't be able to focus on anything else other than wondering where that blast came from. Taking off his clothes then putting on the mask to his costume with it underneath his clothes. The only reason he had it at all was to show off his alter-ego though everyone forgot about it when Jess started singing at the same burning Flash. Sighing lightly before taking off in the direction of the blast knowing it would mean trouble but that happened to be his middle name.
