Reunited

"..Louella?" he widens his mouth. "It's really you!" he shouted with glee.

"You two know each other?" Sir Ice questioned. We both nodded, "Well we're childhood friends" he answered.

"Really? Then that's great! You can talk later, for now, we must practice" as he clasp his hands together. Jax waved his hands fast with a big smile on his face and I waved back as a response.

We've been together since we were little. I often go to his house when my parents we're not home because of concerts. We would play piano together, sometimes guitar or others related to strings. I've always loved his company for he was joyful, filled with hope, and has very wonderful eyes. Those sea-green sleepy eyes that I have always loved. And his mole under his left eye which made him more handsome. But one day, he suddenly left. Which eventually made me forget about him until now. I can't believe he's way more attractive than he was before.

I got my violin and started tuning it. I got this violin since two years ago—Sir Ice gave it to me. It was a present when my recital went successful. He's kind hearted as ever. As I was tuning my violin, Aaron sat beside me.

"Didn't expect you to have a childhood friend" he coughed.

"Everyone has a childhood friend or two" I laughed, "Even me"

"That's nice" but he sounded the opposite.

I furrowed my brows, "Don't you have any friends when you were young?"

"Of course, I do" he scoffed

"Do you guys still keep in touch?"

"Uhm..." he pondered, "..No..?..I don't know" he shrugged. "C'mon, let's practice. The instruments not gonna play itself, y'know" to which I laughed.

Hence, the practice for the recital started. The music room was filled by music. The violins playing every note of the piece as the bow glides from the strings. Its thrilling.

"That was very..nice. You're all so great. It's making me want to cry" Sir Ice sobbed when we all laughed together. "Well then.." he called out, "We will continue later. Different piece this time, you will be playing individual. I assume you all practiced, right?" he asked.

A pause.

I did practice half of the piece but I kinda forgot about it. This is new.

"Don't tell me..you didn't practice?" he shakingly asked. We all laughed and said we did to which he sighed, feeling relief.

"I'll see you all later. Enjoy your lunch"

And we all got outside while Sir Ice remained at the room.

"What do you wanna get for food?" Blythe questioned, rubbing her stomach.

Aaron chuckled, "Chicken wings?" to which we both groaned.

"Always the same dish!" she complained.

"It's delicious. Can't do anything about that" he laughed, "What about you, Lou?" they both turned to me.

"Hmm.. I'm craving for something sweet?"

"You always eat sweet things" Blythe rolled her eyes.

I laughed, "Then..You decide for us, Blythe"

"Let's just eat fast food. I'd eat anything you know" and we all laughed.

"Louella!" a voice behind us shouted.

I turned to see Jax, with smiles in his face.

"Where will you eat?" he asked.

I shrug, "Fast food, maybe? McDonald's?"

Blythe nodded.

"Can I come too?"

I looked at them both for their approval and they both nodded. Though, Aaron hesitated at first.

"Sure" we both smiled at each other and went on our way.

Jax sat next to me while in front of me are Aaron and Blythe. The men ordered for us, leaving me and Blythe alone.

"So.." she started. I looked at her and raised my brows, telling her that she has my attention.

"Isn't he a hottie?" she laughed. "Did you guys date before?"

I laughed, "What is up with you and dates?" she shrug, "..I..I like someone, you see.."

I stunned in shocked, guessing who it is. It must be him.. right?..

"Who..?" I asked, obviously knowing who but I asked anyway.

"I like him..Aaron.." she seriously said.

"You will support me..right?" she asked.

I pressed my lips, "Umm..I..I don't think..I could support..you.." I stammered, not looking at her.

"What?" she sounded pissed, yet I avoided eye contact. What can I say? I..love him. When I realized the feelings I have for Aaron, Its deeper than I thought. He has eyes like rain. Hair like waves. And a sould as vast and deep as the ocean. And I keep drowning..But I guess, I don't mind..

"..I can't, Blythe.." my voice trembled.

"I thought you didn't like him"

"..And you believed that..?" I answered.

She nearly yelled, "Of course, I would!"

I got speechless. We both stared at each other, panting.

"Food has arrived!" Aaron shouted as he makes his way to the table. He saved the day. But I need to talk things out with her, I don't want to cause misunderstandings that would lead to us breaking our friendship just because of a guy.

Jax sat next to me and handed me my food and drink. And gave me a mango pie..which I didn't order.

I picked up the pie and looked at Jax, "..I didn't order..this?"

he laughed lightly, "That's because I did" he isn't wrong.

"No..uh..I mean.."

"That's alright" he said to which my brows furrowed.

"I ordered that for you..I know how much you love mango pie. You can even finish five and still asks for it" he grinned while I got embarrassed.

"..Shut up.." I looked away when he laughed.

"Ah..I'm full..I want to sleep" Jax groaned to which I laughed, "You'll get scolded if you sleep"

"Cover for me" he pouted as he leans close.

I pushed his face away, "You're on your own" he just glared at me.

"You're both so close" Aaron interrupted. We both look at him.

"This is..how we also were before, right?" Jax smiled at me and I nodded.

"Just like the old times" I answered.

"Just like the old times" he repeated.

"But.. It's different now" Aaron said, pacing up his speed. "It's much different now" as he went ahead of us.

Blythe scoffed, "Ah.." as she caught our attention. "Now..we must hurry along. We have practice" as she catches up to Aaron.

I didn't understand what they both mean. Jax looked at me, "Let's hurry. They're leaving us" as he also ran.

"Eh...? Ah!" I yelled, "Wait!" as I ran as fast as I could to catch up to the three of them.
