Yearning for you

"Mother."

"Disgrace."

"...Why aren't you on Iron Man's side?!" she yelled. We're now watching Civil War. After the confession, nothing really happened between Aaron and I. We stayed friends but we focused more for the upcoming concert which I wanna do well. Few months have passed and now, there's only 2 months left for Aaron.

A lot happened actually. My Mom and I made up, we had a very long talk and we both cried a lot. I just then realized how she actually cares about me and never intended to do things that far. And now, we're best of friends.

"Because... It's actually his fault why they had to fight, mom" as I eat big amount of popcorn.

We argue some more about where to take side when the door bell rang.

"I'll get it" to which mom nodded, not letting the movie out of her sight.

I chuckled as I went to the door to see Aaron's face. After 10 months of being ill, he was still fine. Sure, he had lost some weight...and some hair but nonetheless, he was still as jolly as ever.

"I bought cake" he gave me a smile.

"Are you winning over my mom?" I grinned as I asked him.

He just shrug, "Maybe. I want her to like me"

I pat his shoulder while he gives me the cake,

"Don't worry, she already likes you" as we went to the living room where we watch Civil War.

"Aaron!" she yelled as she kissed him in both cheeks as her way of saying hello to someone.

"Good, you're here. El said that she takes Captain America's side when obviously you should be on Iron Man's, right?!" and now she's involving Aaron.

But being Aaron,

"Whaaat? Lou, why would you take his side?" as he sits beside Mom.

I rolled my eyes, "Cap's gonna win anyway" I saw my Mom's mouth widens as I went to the kitchen to prepare the cake.

Everytime we have spare time, we would always hang out together and sometimes he'll also invite his dad. And his dad and my mom get along pretty well but I don't want them to end up together, no. I don't want to be Aaron's sister, that's just weird.

I prepared a slice for my mom and one for me. I went back to the living room and put her cake on the table which she immediately grabbed. I laughed softly, they were so focused on the movie even though Aaron has watched it many times. I recently told Mom about Marvels and she loved it quickly. I can't wait to tell her Natasha's going to die.

"...I'm sorry... You can't eat cake..." I looked at him sadly. He's almost skin and bones.

Instead of feeling down, he smiled at me.

"It's alright, I'm full anyway. I ate on the way here"

I chuckled, "Let me guess... Chicken?"

"Ding!Ding!Ding!" he nodded to which we both laughed.

I took a deep breath and put my head on his shoulder, which was already normal for the both of us. We're both actually very clingy which I really love. Only 2 months left, huh. It's ending soon.

The concert's coming near too so we are really focus for the upcoming event. Today is an exception for it's a rest day.

"Where's Uncle?" I asked as I eat cake. It has a vanilla flavor which my mom loves and Aaron is a sucker for my mom's attention.

"Work. Said he's coming later for dinner" he replied, "...If that's alright..." he hesitated.

I raised my head, "Oh, come on. Now you're acting all shy? You're always coming here and from time to time with your Dad" sounding irritated when he smiled.

"You're already part of the family, dear" my mom joined in the conversation. I raised my brow as I watch him smile wide, so wide.

"And if you date my daughter and marry her, you can call me Mom. Oh wait—you can even call me Mom right now!" she exclaimed. She's getting too excited for this.

"Mom!" I stopped her while she shrugged. Honestly, whenever someone teases us, I don't get flustered. Instead I get happy that even if we can't be together then at least in my dream, in everyone's thoughts, we were perfect for each other.

I look to see Aaron and my eyes widen as I saw him getting red all of the sudden.

"...Aaron...Wait, do—wha..." I stuttered while he just looks away from me. Do I still have a chance on this relationship? Can I still confess? He didn't deny it... he didn't agree with it either. That day...it was cold yet I felt my body was hot.

Even when we weren't wandering, even from the floor of your closet, you showed the world to me. You make me love you, and that could be the greatest thing my heart was ever fit to do...

"Now that the concert is tomorrow. We will have a sound check in the morning for the concert is still at 3pm. We'll see each other at the located place where our concert will be held. I wish you all good luck for your performance tomorrow" Sir Ice dismissed.

Indistinct murmurs were heard all over the band room as all of us packed our instrument. Once again, I'll be playing violin with Aaron while Blythe plays the viola. However, for the solo I will play the piano, Aaron for the violin, and Blythe for the saxophone. Yup, we all play bunch of instruments.

"Louella!" Jax called out as he jogs his way to me.

I asked, "What is it?"

"Are you going home immediately? Want to go home together?" he smiled. But before I could even answer him, Aaron wrapped his arms around my shoulder.

"Go find someone else to go home with, Jacky" he scoffed.

"It's Jax!" he sounded irritated. They always fight whenever they are together. I can't even distinguish if they're friends or not.

"I'll go home with Jax" Blythe appeared with smiles in her face.

Jax rolled his eyes, "And why would I want to go home with you?"

"Oh, come on. We can grab some food. I know you love brownies" she tap his shoulder to make him surrender.

"Ugh..." he groaned, "...You're paying" as he stomped his way out of the room.

"He's always grumpy" I laughed to which they both agreed.

"Oi! Hurry!" he shouted when Blythe said her goodbye and waved as she runs to follow Jax.

"Are you nervous for tomorrow?" he said as we walk our way home.

I shook my head, "Not really" to which he nodded.

"By the way..."

"Hmm?"

"...Is you bucket list completed already...?"

He went quiet for a minute and then spoke,

"There's 3 things more but... I doubt it will happen so let's just drop it. I mean, I'm not going to last that long, right?" he laughed softly.

"Aaron..." I looked at him sadly.

He ruffled my hair, "You don't have to worry about it. I'm already contented. Let's go home, shall we?" giving me a smile. I couldn't do anything but smile and nod.

What was the last 3 things he wants to do? I ponder.
