Spending money

Jake walked down the market in his disguise. He sold all his non valuable items and got 50 stix . He smiled at the money given. He's first stop would be at a local restaurant he used to go when he was a kid.

He missed the delicacies of the food since at home he ate food that was tasteless. He tried exercising his illusion magic by changing his hair color.

He wore his glasses and hood. As he walked to the restaurant , he couldn't help but feel someone was trailing him. He entered the restaurant and was ushered where to sit by a waitress.

" What may , get you sir ?" She asked.

" Some french fries and BBQ steak " He said indifferently.

" Also bring both of us some milkshake and bring me whatever he's eating. " A girl with blue hair appeared behind the waitress.

" Right away ma'am " She said and left

The blue haired girl otherwise known as Elena sat opposite to Jake.

" Hey , long time no see Winchester ." She said .

" Apparently not long enough " Jake murmured.

" c'mon , you didn't contact me. What happened to that ?" Elena asked.

" I didn't feel like it . " Jake said.

" You really are interesting " Elena said with admiration

" How would your boyfriend react ?" Jake asked.

The waiter soon delivered the food for the two.

" Thank you " Elena gave a charming smile .

" So back to the question , I don't have a boyfriend " Elena said.

" Wow a liar on top of that " Jake said.

" You know , I have been trying to be nice to you ever since we met but you have been a complete asshole " Elena said with a hint of anger

She suddenly smirked . " How about this , answer my question , or I will remove my disguise " She said.

' A person so mysterious , would not be searching for attention so he must hate attention as much as me ' Elena thought.

" You wouldn't dare " Elena was already ready to remove her wig showing a tint of red hair underneath.

" Ugh , fine . I'll answer your dumb questions."

" Why do you hate me ?"

" I hate the Phoenix clan , you included because someone precious to me died by your clans hands " Jake said avoiding the whole truth .

" Ok , am sorry for that , but you shouldn't let an action an individual did ruin your whole thinking of the clan " Elena said.

Jake ate his food while listening to her and once she was finished he wiped his mouth .

" So why are you following me like some kind of stalker ?" Jake asked.

" I'm not , this is my favorite restaurant , removes me from all the ' class ' " Elena joked

Jake gave a half smile acknowledging her joke.

" But honestly, am intrigued with you because you were able to find who I really am with all the disguises I make , to the point of even concealing my aura. And also , how you were able to control more than two primary elements. It's impossible you know " Elena said.

' So she saw everything ' Jake thought.

" Am just your humble commoner with nothing to do than cultivate Mana" Jake sipped the milkshake.

" Yet your posture has some royalty in it. Are you perhaps a fallen ?" She asked.

( Fallen : Disgraced Leaders of clans ( Royalties ) who have fallen down to the class of commoners )

" What if I am " Jake said continuing to slurp his milkshake.

" I am sorry about that "

" so back to the question " Elena asked.

" Am pretty sure you figured the first one considering how smart you are and for the second it's because I have all spiritual roots " Jake whispered the last part

" Wow , that's awesome . You and I are actually not so different " Elena said .

" And why is that ?" Jake asked.

" Because I can use all the elements as you dumbass " Elena whispered back.

Jake was now intrigued . Turned out they were not so different. But that's if they're equals and Jake knew they were never gonna be equals and they were never gonna get along.

The table was quiet for some while before Elena's phone rang. She talked for some while before agreeing to something .

" Sorry Winchester , gotta go . Pay for me and I promise to pay you back later " She said as she walked out.

Jake grumbled and lived the required amount after finishing his food. He went to the mobile shop and bought a phone worth 25 stix. It was solar charged and had detachable earphones.

He seemed happy with what he bought and happily started walking back to his ' house ' . Meanwhile someone on top of a roof had a grade A sniper aiming for Jake's heart

" I got him boss. Permission to engage ?" The assassin asked. The boss looked at the boy via camera attached to the sniper. The next words shocked assassin .

" No "

" Why sir , we could finally get our 30000 stix ."

" I said no that's an order . That kid is pro...." The assassin raged and was about to pull the trigger when a small pebble hit him at the back of his head , shattering his skull and passing through his head faster than any bullet. He dropped dead next to his sniper as blood gushed out of his head

Jake finally arrived at the clan and was immediately sent to the hall.

" Jake I hope you're aware what the day after tomorrow is. ?" The grand elder asked.

" ...Yes " .

" Good then , get your rest the two following days will be tedious " Grand elder said.

' Fuck me '
