The marriage went according to plan . Jake was given a good suit and well groomed for the marriage.

The wedding was small as it only needed the leaders of the clan .

As Jake saw the hall , he internally sighed.

' Well , here goes my freedom ' He thought.

They were not to object and it went quite well.

As a couple according to the Phoenix clan . They were To be given a house for them to stay . However in the Phoenix clan women , were valued more thus those who were married by a woman were to join the Phoenix clan . The Novichi clan disagreed and it was finally settled that they were to live on a nearby border between the clans which meant they were out of manors.

The house they built was a small mansion with a swimming pool and a four bedroom. It had a small training area for Elena and a beautiful view considering it was at the edge of the forest .

They had no servants and Jake could feel Elena was quite fine which surprised him. He was sure that she was definitely spoilt but it seemed he was wrong.

After everything was settled and everyone gone , the two finally spoke to each other.

' I take back what I thought about her , she's clearly spoilt to the core. ' Jake thought as she looked at her with disgust .

" Don't think just because you're pretty , strong and have all boys hoarding in front of you that I should be like one of them. Infact I hate your guts and the fact that you're in that trash clan makes me detest you more. Do you know how much I had to suffer because I was betrothed to the great Sword Princess. I was bullied by your die hard fans . God , why didn't let me die in a corner . " He said and before he could be interjected , he was already off. Elena was shocked and remembered the words her ' friend ' said.

" Your fiance will most likely hate you since if he has low mana that means he's subjected to bullying and his status with you will just increase the bullying. If I were him I would say no and die then because I wouldn't have much to live for "

He entered his room in anger and it. took him quite some time to cool down. He hated being looked down upon by people and it felt even more agonizing been looked by the person who caused him most of his torture.

Although the room alone had more space than his house , he still felt his home was the best. He jumped to his bed and sighed.

For some while he continuously stared at the ceiling before finally sitting in lotus position , removing the level 1 Wolf core and started cultivating it. He felt calmer and more refreshed.

He guessed that was the aura of water magic. Water mages were usually more calmer than others however could also exclude an aura of deadlines if truly provoked.
