Chapter 64

''Fujiwara Himari.'' Mrs Suzuki called out as she takes the students attendants.

Then our class president stood up and told her,

''Sensei, Himari-san was absent today.''

''Himari-san was absent today? That was quite unusual...'' She pushes her glasses up while she writes something on the attendant book.

Soon after she had finished taking the attendants, she closed the book and make an announcement.

''Class, if all of you have been aware that lately, our neighbourhood was not safe as it usually did. But since your big examination will be held at the end of the year, our school decided to make a quick test to see how well have you been understanding the lesson given so far.'' Mrs Suzuki said calmly.

Soon, our class began to murmur to each another despite their worry.

'Gosh... I think I will fail my math...' I bury my head on my desk.

''Ahem!'' Mrs Suzuki cleared her throat before she continues.

''And the test will be held tomorrow. But don't worry because the quick test will only involve the main subjects.'' She smiled.

''But I will not accept any fail as a result for your test tomorrow. So I hope every student in this 'elite' classroom was being able to pass every subject with flying colours especially in math, because tomorrow first examination subject was math.''

'I am doomed! That old evil witch knows that our maths results were the worst and now she was expecting that we can get a good result in that cursed subject?! Fck you!' I silently cursed her.

*Ring!*

The school bell saved us from hearing anymore threatening speech that who knows what she will say anything even worst.

''Okay students, I will end our lesson for today. Good luck class.'' Mrs Suzuki slightly bows at us.

''Stand up class. Thank you Mrs Suzuki for today's lesson.'' Our class president bow at her following by us.

''Miyu-chan, do you need some help in math? I will teach you anything you don't understand.'' Yuuto suddenly offered.

''Eh! Th-There's no need for your help, Yuuto-kun. I am fine on my own.'' I rejected his help because I know if I spend more time with him, I will only expose myself to danger.

''Miyu-chan, if I say I will teach you, then I HAVE to teach you at all cost. Don't you dare to reject my good intention....'' Yuuto smiled at me as his face darkened in anger.

''Su-Sure, I-I am happy if you can help me in math.'' I force myself to smile at him although I was trembling in fear in the inside.

''Pfft!'' All of a sudden, he chuckled as if I just tell him a joke.

''W-What are you laughing at, you bastard?'' I flustered.

''You don't have to be so polite to me. It was really funny to see you talking so formally.'' Yuuto wiped his tears after laughing so badly.

''If you are not used to seeing me being a badass then I am sorry to hide that from you for the past few years. Do you know that I had beaten up a few guys back when I was 16? And the funniest part was that the teachers were defending me instead of the students which got his arm broken because of, me, of course." He pointed at himself.

Yuuto seems so proud after he admitted his fault.

''Wait...you fought with that 4 students? That 4 students who committed suicide?'' I questioned him.

''Yes, I did.'' Yuuto nods his head.

"Why?"

"Um...because they hurt someone important to me, I think so..."

'Was it a coincidence? That was the 4 students who had try to harassed me when I was 16 but luckily I manage to run away...I didn't tell anyone about it...' My thoughts were running wild in my head as I try to connect any possibility that it was Yuuto who actually killed them.

''Miyu-chan, why do you look so freaked out?'' He asked.

''Eh?! Di-Did I?!'' I shuttered.

''Aha haha...Maybe it was because I didn't expect that you are a good fighter since you have an excellent grade.'' Scratching my cheek, I try to laugh it off.

''Sooo....this evening I will come by your house and maybe I can make dinner for you. What about having an omelette for dinner?'' Yuuto suggested.

''Omelette?'' My eyes sparks in excitement.

''Yes, I also have some chilled chocolate cheesecake that I have to make last night.''

''Yea! Chocolate cheesecake!''

Forgetting about how dangerous he could be, I show him my fist and exclaimed, ''Bro fist!''

That red colour hair boy just smiled after he bumped his fist gently against mine. His emerald green eyes shined brightly as the sunlight touches his fair face. Seeing him like this makes me feel whole once again.

'If only he was not obsessed with me, I bet that we will create a lot of beautiful memory together...genuinely' I silently think to myself.

***

Looking around, I saw a bunch of reporters have already arrived earlier on the crime scene than me. I also notice there's a woman around on her 50's was crying while being hold back by some police officers that was preventing the public from going anywhere close the alley.

''Miss Kinoshita, here is the report.'' The police officer handed me a file.

''Thanks a lot. You are dismissed.'' I smiled at him.

That police officer stomped his feet on the ground while giving me a salute before he leaves me at the crime scene.

''A student from the school I was teaching right now, huh?'' I go through the file.

''Fujiwara Himari....18 years old and she was a part-time worker on the local convenient store....Hmm, interesting...'' I murmured to myself.

The report shows that the victims were not raped nor having any possible sign that she was sexually harassed. The victims died approximately around 7 to 8 hours ago and her death was caused by blood loss.

And as I go on reading the report given, it was said that her ankle was sprained and there's few stabed wounds on her stomachs which cause her death. I was quite surprised that she was stabbed once from the back because normally criminal always stab from only one direction after they have already started to attack their victim.

The hidden camera that was installed on that area failed to give any hint about this case since it had been hacked and all of the recordings was empty. As always, this killer only leaves a Kumihimo bracelet on its victim's wrist as the clue. The only difference was only the colour and this time it was red.

*Sigh~*

''It was quite expected for this Kumihimo serial killer...'' I sighed in frustration after getting more and more unsolved case.

''Maybe I should ask Mrs Yamaguchi for some advised...But now I should be going to school.'' Closing the file, I slowly walk towards my car and leaves that bloody crime scene behind me.
