Chapter 65

''Ah~ It was so refreshing after that quick shower.'' I stretch out my hand.

I wore a comfortable T-shirt and a pair of long grey pants. Using a small towel, I dry my hair while heading downstairs. Then I went into the kitchen to get myself jasmine green tea from the refrigerator.

Like always, I will lazily lay on the living room couch while watching the television.

As I was taking a few sips from the bottled green tea, I heard that someone was knocking on the door. I leave my tea on the table and hurry up to get the door.

''Yo hey, Yuuto-kun, I thought—''

''Hey, pancake.'' Touma smiled.

Touma looks so mesmerising although he was only using a plain green T-shirt and paired with a black loses pants. He also brings his school bag with him.

''Touma-san?! Sorry, I thought it was Yuuto at first. Why do you come here, Touma-san?'' I asked.

''Well, I thought that maybe I can hang out at your house since Yuuto said that he will be coming here to help you with math. Actually, I was not that good in math and there's exam tomorrow so...'' Touma lightly stretches his cheek as he looks at me.

''Pfft! I get it, Touma-san. There's no need to be shy about it. To be honest, I was quite relieved that there will be someone else going get scolded by Yuuto-kun today.'' I chuckled after knowing that he was not that good in math.

''Come in and make yourself home.''

''Okay, thanks Miyu-san.'' Touma took off his shoes on the doorstep and place it facing towards the door.

''So, Miyu-san, how much do you get from the previous examination?'' He asked while putting his bag on the couch.

''Um...49...I guess?''

''49? It was not that bad actually.'' Touma slightly punches my shoulder.

''What about yours? I bet it was lower than mine since those questions are killing my brain. TeeHee.'' I look at him slyly.

''Huh? If you say that 78 was lower than yours, I say you should go relearn everything from the beginning. Take a look if you have any doubt. '' Touma said proudly.

''What?!'' Feeling disbelief of he just say, I grab his previous exam paper from his hand to check it out myself.

Seeing 78 was written on top of the paper, I feel amused that he got the hardest question (To be honest, every question in thay paper was so hard that I can barely even get even 1 question full mark) right.

''Whoa, dude! You got this right, like seriously?''

''I bet you can't solve that one huh?'' Touma teased me.

''You know, only those who can solve this equation have a bigger brain than mine and since your brain has even more useful brain cell, it was obvious that you can solve this shit.'' I hit the paper multiple on the table after getting frustrated because I failed to get the answer of this 'stupid' math equation.

''Oh ho, sooo your brain cell was filled with useless thing huh?'' Touma rested his chin on his hand while having fun teasing me.

''It was not useless, it was just my brain was filled with thing that's not related with education.'' I defended myself.

''Then prove to me by solving this question.'' Touma hands me a piece of math paperwork.

''Hmph! I will show you that I was capable to solve this in just a few minutes.''

I grab the paper and started to write down the problem-solving answer on the paper.

A few minutes later...

''Fck it...'' I cursed underneath my breath after I didn't manage to get anywhere close to the correct answer.

''Do you want to give up now? I can teach you how to solve it~'' Touma asked as his eyebrows go up and down as if his eyebrows were caterpillar crawling on his forehead.

''Shh! I had already sensed the wisdom of knowledge was about to rain on me.'' I close my eyes tightly and began to waves my hand around in one motion.

''Pfft!! Ahahahahaha!! Wisdom of knowledge my ass!'' He clutches his mouth while laughing like an idiot.

*Knock knock!*

Suddenly, I heard a knock on the door and I get up faster than lightning speed to get the door.

'Perfect escape chance!' I think to myself.

"Hey, who is going to finish this math question if you just leave like that?!" Touma called out.

"Bleh~ I don't give a damn about that ridiculous math question." I stick out my tongue at him before I went and answer the door.

''Hello, Takahashi desu.'' I answered as I open the door.

''Good evening, Miyu-chan.'' Yuuto was there in front of the door. He was wearing blue sport wear and he has brought along something too.

''What is that?''

''This? Well, it was the chocolate cheesecake that I made for you last night.'' He smiled.

''Whoa....here let me help you with this...'' I reach out for the cake while I feel myself drooling for it.

''Not that fast, you greedy little cat. We will eat it after you finish with your math lesson.'' Yuuto holds the cake up high that I was not able to reach it with this height of mine.

"Tch!" I scolded.

''Oh yea, I forget to tell you that Touma is here. He said he wants to join us revising math together.'' I smiled.

''How long had he been here?'' His expression sudden turn cold.

''Half an hour ago...I guess?''

''Didn't I told you not to be close to any guys, especially when I am not around. ''

''Bro, relax~ It was only Touma-san. Come and get in.'' I hold his hand and lead him inside.

''Yo hey Touma-san, look who and what we got here!'' I called.

''Chocolate cheesecake and Yuuto—''

I stopped as I notice that the picture of someone familiar appeared on the news.

''— A 18 years old girl had become one of the unlucky victims of the serial killer which was nowhere to found.'' The news reporter said. Then I notice that the picture that was displayed on the screen was my classmate...

''Himari-san.....Is that HIMARI-SAN?!''

''It was...her...'' Touma looks at the television in disbelief.

''—The body was found between the alley of XXX street by the locals at 7 in the morning. The police are still trying their best to track down the serial killer and the resident who was living in this area are advised to take extra caution and—''

After hearing that, I can't hold my tears back and I bend down to my knees to hide my face from them.

''Himari...Himari was gone...'' I whimper.
