*Boom* *Bam*
Two figures are seen fighting fiercely in a rocky shore. With every punch the ground rumbles beneath them.
On one side was a young man who seems to be 15, is wearing some black banded mail armor with a blue scarf wrapped around covering everything but his eyes.
On the other side was a middle aged man built like a muscular monster. He was wearing nothing but a loincloth.
"Flame Dome!" Everything got enveloped in flames in a 20 feet radius. The rock beneath was extremely hot. He managed to burn Lucky's arms after he blocked him.
Lucky could've easily been unharmed but he's not using his sigil. And using 75 percent of his actual combat prowess.
"Your specially made scarf can resist your flames now. Hmm. It's a shame you don't know how to use your acid sigil yet." The bald man said.
"Mhmm. Lucky. It seems I can hold my own now when you use both hands." Marcus said out of breath.
"You can only last for a few minutes though. Still you surpassed my expectations. Hmm. I say you can be head of the elite guards with this amount of power. Which for your age is impressive. Most of the students in your academy at most. Should be a third of your strength or less. Very few should be near your strength. You can thank me for that." Lucky seemed proud of his work.
"Thank you Lucky. I'll make sure to pay you back and Mr.Trokk for your lessons and time. I will not let you down." Marcus said with a plain expression.
"When do I start the academy?" Marcus let himself fall back on the warm floor to rest.
"You start in a few months
For now. I'll explain to you a few things you need to know and do." Lucky sat cross legged on the floor as well after healing his burn wounds.
"Alright. I'm listening."
"First, your strength. As I said you are about as strong as the head of the elite guards. I can say their level of strength is...about.. 250. An elite guard is 150. A regular guard is 100. However, I'm not at the top of the food chain. I'm about 400. Mr. Knokk's strength can be measured as maybe twice or a bit more than mine. 800-1000."
Marcus went cold hearing that final part. It'd be a while before he can make them pay.
"Your average foot soldier from our empire is 50. That's expected to be a proficient student at the academy. The elites are 100-200. And rare prodigies are around you."
"Many of those kids are sheltered. Lack experience and hardships. That is how you are superior to them. To top it all off. You have a rare ability. Two, but your acid ability is yet to be unlocked."
Marcus actually unlocked it a long time ago. He believes using those measurements. He's about 350. But he's been hiding his power from Lucky.
"Second. You must display dominance of that school. You will do it in the name of Mr.Trokk. Under no circumstances can you lose to any of the other families. Your main targets are the Onyx and Masketts families. They want to exile Mr.Trokk. Reasons? Apparently he is making it hard to ally with a neighboring kingdom because of his business."
"Third. I will give you tasks while staying at the capital. These will range from assassination to dinner parties. From now on you are representing Mr. Trokk. Not yourself." Lucky got up. We will now head to the great city of GreenWood." Lucky got up and headed back to their cabin.
Marcus started to think. "I still can't use that purple flame. I'll figure it out later. For now. I have to prepare. They'll regret what they put me through for my previous self. And these past three years."
A few months later Marcus arrived at GreenWood. He was rather tall for his age at 6'2. He hasn't grown much since he awakened his sigil. Now he looks pretty intimidating. Really bulky. He has red and purple eyes.
Different eye colors usually mean that you have two sigils. Not every sigil is compatible. Only those that are rare and ultra rare are compatible only. And the chances of a person with a rare sigil are one in million ultra rare are one in ten million. That's probably why my parents were so cherished.
And apparently not some sigils can merge together if you have multiple. I believe that is the purple flame I saw back then. For now I'll hide the fact that I have acid available to me.
Marcus passed through the gate after inspection. He's done some traveling and was taught many things by Lucky. To ensure he doesn't mess up at all. After he entered he looked around and bought some armor stones which help repair armor automatically. This makes them rather expensive, not a worry for Marcus since he has a huge allowance.
After some more shopping and wandering he made it to the academy. It looked pretty flashy and huge. Everyone had silver uniforms.
End.
