The Royal Highness of Pluto

Luca's POV

After a mini fight, Alec dragged me away. "Stop fighting. You guys are like tom and jerry. But worse." I tapped my feet impatiently and pretended to look at my nails, annoyed. I make a great actor, thank you very much. He pinched the bridge of his nose. His annoyance was clearly posted on his face. "What are you doing?"

I narrowed my eyes. "What do you mean?" He clicked his tongue. "I thought, no connections or attachments." I gave him a severe look. "You have a crush on a girl you can never have. And sleep with random ones. Who knows how many you have knocked up? You sure are one to talk."

He sighed. "You are different. You are more-" He started off. "Stop it. Everyone is equal in family. Everyone is equally important. We have to spend just 2 years here. We did not come here to cause problems. When we go back, it will be different." I severely said. "But the bus-" He halted mid sentence. I saw the reflection in his eyes.

"Hi, Carlotta." I said without turning back. She looked surprised, at least I think. "Hey, Luca!" She chirped excitedly. "Already started?" I asked. She jumped in front of me. "I just had 3 shots." She held up 6 fingers. Okay. "Isn't she a truth machine when she is drunk and forgets everything?" I asked him. Alec nodded suspiciously. I clapped my hands together dramatically. What the hell am I doing?

"Who is Celestina?" My question seemed to echo through her head. The light went off in her head. "Honestly, I don't know anymore."

Celeste's POV

We both were sitting in silence. Not completely. Cause all the humans screaming like banshees and the loud music of some kind of rock. Wow, am I clueless of this generation's music choice? 'Uh, you belong to this generation, genius.' My mind sassed. Why is everything against me? Not important! "What are you saying?"

She scoffed and said, "You know what I'm talking about." I looked at her for the longest period of time I can tolerate looking at people's face. "No, I don't." I deadpanned. "Well, your loss." She shrugged. "I-" A slight smirk appeared on my face.

"You're good. Very good. Do you want to become a psychologist?" I asked her. She smiled. "Eh. It didn't work. Carlotta would have died with curiosity. And Lucy, I don't need to do anything." Out of all the people in the group, I never really talked to Alena much. I don't know why. I banter with asshole all the time. Carlotta and Lucy. Alec, Jake, Derek and even Mike-wait, Michael talk often. "I like you." She grinned. "They always do." She said. She paused from a whole minute. "That spoiled it, didn't it?" I nodded while drinking the water. "Damn it!"

An hour had passed. And we talked and talked about random stuff. We went from water formation to chicken to cupboard to pillow to brain to Italian everything. That girl can't keep up a topic for long. She kept changing the subject. She is a maniac and so random. It scares me a little. "You are very random." I pretended to take notes in my hand and pushed my imaginary glasses closer to my nose. I make a good actor, your welcome.

She chuckled. "Why, thank you!" I shook my head. "How do you take stuff so positively? Even though, you are irritated or hu-" I corrected myself. "annoyed." She widened her eyes dramatically. "I take classes on how to act." She said with a thick accent. I guess, Russian. "Just kidding, I have had a quite bad time growing up. I have a behavior of turning negative into positive." She said with what could be called a positive smile.

"What negative?" I asked casually. "Oh, my dad was-" She halted mid sentence. "Ohh, you are very good. God, you are an amazing manipulator." Alena complimented. Why am I not interested in mocking people and questioning people's decisions? "What is wrong with us?" She thought out loud. "We are too amazing to be existing in this slow moving world." She answered her own question. "I love you." I said. She drank her cranberry juice like it was a tequila shot.

"My dad was an alcoholic so I don't like drinking alcohol. That's all I'm saying." She stood up and walked away to dance. I sighed and drank a weird tasted drink. Ugh, it was here cranberry juice. It was plain. No filtration. She demanded the bartender to do it. That guy was a professional and has been hired for a college party. Wow, standards have improved. Near the dance floor, everybody was there. All the guys and girls. They called me over. I denied. Not knowing what was coming

"Hello, there." A slightly drunk highs schooler slurred. "Aren't you a bundle of joy?" I said. He moved closer. I didn't move, just challenged him to move forward. He took it. How dare you? 'Oh please, that boy is intoxicated. Obviously, he is unaware of his surroundings.' My mine sassed. "How bout a dance?" He slurred and almost spit on me. I swear to god. "No dance, I could interest you in a sarcastic comment." He looked confused and then walked away.

I saw some girls giggling next to me. More like at me. I took one look on their flirty faces and I ran to the dance floor faster than The Flash. The entire group started laughing. And asshole's eyes twinkled with amusement. Don't he just love mocking me? "Have you got anything to say?" I looked at him suspiciously. He shook his head and smirked a little. I hate him! And his eyes aren't pretty. No, no. Might as well change my mental chant chant to 'I don't like him.'

"As much as I love annoying you, let's settle this for their sake—" I raised my eyes brows. Giving him a judgmental. Honey, that ain't gonna happen. "For now. Geez, you don't look so happy about not talking to me?" I rolled my eyes. "I—"

"Who are you, Celestina?" Carlotta stood on the bar and screamed suddenly. I didn't think twice to answer her.

"The Royal Highness of Pluto."
