Bitten By A Radioactive Mule

Celestina's POV

I heaved a sigh. I had been dragging two girls who were drunk beyond their head. I never thought Lucy would be such a drunkard. Alena seemed calm after the burst of mood swings of the drunks in our group. I wasn't.

"I swear to god. I will personally kill them when they wake up. Stupid heavy pigs." I groaned as Alena laughed. She had small leg injury during the party. She was advised to stay put and no pressure to be applied. So I had to originally help the girls. Asshole helped the guys. Mike disappeared. Michael! He doesn't like being called that.

"Well, imagine carrying 3 football players who weigh more than 180 pounds. Fucking hell!" Asshole heaved up Alec on his shoulder. Okay, I'll admit I wanted to help a little bit. But I enjoyed seeing him in pain, soooo. "Good for puny muscles." I patted his arms. He glared at me. "Sure, that's how I'm carrying these pigs."

"Geez, chill. Stop burning holes into my head. It hurts." I raised my hands in mock surrender. He rolled his eyes. "I'm driving." He said and went to occupy the driver seat. "Thank you for the kind information. I totally give you permission." Wait, did the boys come in a car? We could have, too.

I sat in the shotgun. What is it called? Never mind. He revved the car and drove fast away from the party house. Where were we going? "My house." I looked at him in confusion. Did I speak out loud? "We are going to my house. It would be sufficient for everyone." He said clearly. I nodded. "Where is Michael?" I asked.

"Left early." Duh! "In my house." He answered short. Whatever! I looked back to find everyone sleeping comfortably. Carlotta leaned against Alec's shoulder. Lucy was wrapped around Derek. Jake was sprawled in the last. Alena has passed out quietly next to him. I didn't realize I was smiling. "Do you know how to tend a sprain?" I asked him cautiously.

"Yes." His tone was monotonous. As I figured it to be. He never spoke about what he knew or about his family. For nobody did. I wouldn't too. There are some stories we never tell. Kind of easy to figure out the others. Starting from alcoholics to perfectionist to orthodox. I don't know about asshole though. I barely know anything neither do I ask.

"Aren't we supposed to be at each other's throat?" I raised an eyebrow. He smiled sarcastically. "I thought we had a pact of no fighting for their fun." I rolled my eyes. "Sure..." I drawled. "You didn't drink." It was more of a statement than question. "I didn't know you loved me so much. You keep bringing up a dead conversation." I couldn't see in the dark but I'm sure he was smirking.

I sighed dramatically. "I'm bored out of my freaking mind." I continued. "Out of all, you are my only choice." I flailed my arms for an effect. He gave me a weird look. "Why so sarcastic?" He asked in dry tone. "Oh, look at the pot call the kettle black." I scoffed. I planned to shut my mouth since he oh so finds me sarcastic.

"Okay, I just wanted to annoy. Please, talk, royal highness of Pluto." He said after a while. I smirked victoriously. I didn't open my mouth. It's gonna take longer than that. "Oh for god's sake!" He muttered something in Italian. I don't think he wanted me to understand. Meh, I understood it anyway. Something like, 'Why is this girl so frustrating?' Boy, it's not even the trailer. A lot are yet to come. You have no idea!

We arrived shortly at his house or mansion. "Alec lives here, too." He informed me. I just nodded. I wanted to save my energy to carry all the pigs and Alena. He parked near the main door. He opened the door wide open. I slowly dragged Lucy inside the couch. Then, Carlotta. When I reached there, Alena was missing. But, Michael carried her. Right, he was here.

Everyone was now sprawled in the couch. They looked very discomforted. Lucy was mumbling something to herself. Jacob was cuddling Derek. Carlotta was literally sleeping on Alec. I stifled my laughter. I turned to see asshole looking amusedly at the pack of animals. "Alena kind of fidgets around in her sleep. So, I put her on her bed. I will help with them, too." Michael appeared out of nowhere.

We slowly put all of them in a room. But Derek and Jake in the same room. Lucy and Carlotta in the same room. Let them freak out in the morning about what happened. Eh, whatever! I was too tired to even process a thought. "Change your clothes." Shorts and shirt was thrown in my face. "Geez, you sure do have respect for women." He looked around. "Who? Women?"

"Nope. Wo men?" His sapphire eyes shone with amusement. For the first time, I looked him directly in the eye. Okay! I give up. They are a beautiful shade. Most beautiful eyes. "Why are you like this?" He muttered, shaking his head. "I don't know about others. I was bitten by a radioactive mule." He chuckled. Nah, it wasn't sexy or anything. Don't worry.

"I can't wait for tomorrow. We get to fight properly. No more pact." He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes. "Ha! It's past midnight. Time's up. No more pact." I mocked him. "I don't have the energy to fight now. Tomorrow morning. Proper fight." He sounded tired. "Go sleep, young man." I waved my hand dismissively. "Sure, granny." He muttered before trying to close the door.

"Oh, that's so not happening. You ain't gonna leave with that. Fight till the end, you asshole!"

Yeah, this is going to be fun.
