The Self Escape (Continuation)

Sleepless nights have passed and anxiety is just getting stronger in Thea's whole being. She have to admit that she's tired,but the thought of that mysterious guys staring at her window two days ago cant bring her into slumber. Its almost a year of living in her apartment,Thea almost thought that she could be safe and all those anxiety and sleepless nights is slowly killing her.

Many of her teachers and classmates have grown curious on why is this fourteen year old girl is always exhausted in going to school,always been caught sleeping in class and dont have enough energy to do her work in the library she applied in her school.

Looking herself in the bathroom mirror,where her dark eye bags are clearly seen,her lips is getting pale and that's when she noticed she is getting skinnier. Its still eight in the evening when she received a call from her Uncle,its been so long since she received his last call.

"Hello Uncle."Thea lethargically greeted her uncle on the other line of the phone call.

"Hey Thea,are you doing well? How was your school?"Antonio asked his niece.

Thea stared at herself in the mirror slowly pitying at the sight,she's not worried about her expenses and her food,and she's thankful to her uncle for that.Now that she's feeling unsafe in her own place she's staying she badly wanted to ask her uncle for help,but she own him so much that didnt want to bring another problem to him.

Thea sighed and flashed a forced smile."Yes Uncle Im okay here."

"Are you sure?I've been worried about you since several teachers have been calling me about you sleeping class."

"Oh that?Im just having a hard time getting to sleep,"

"Oh,and why is that?Do you need some medicine? I'll increase your allowance."

"No its fine Uncle,I'll just drink some milk or anything that could help and that's all Im good."Thea smiled to herself forcing to make sound like jolly for her uncle not to notice her getting weaker.

"Are you sure?Im sorry I haven't visited you since you moved I've been so busy these times lately but I'll find time to visit you okay? So dont worry."

"Yes,Uncle Thank you so much,have good day."

And with that Thea was left with no other choice but to solve this problem herself.

Everyday going to and back to school,she's always been feeling anxious,and keeps on checking behind her to check if someone's following. Even in doing groceries,she always choose to night to go for groceries when there's so many people so that she cant be seen easily.

* Im being watch,and Im getting nervous every minute of it.I dont know when will I be hurt or when will be last time of being safe.*

While on her way home,fixing all the grocery bags in her hand,she saw Annie and Anya walking towards the entrance of the supermarket. With the sight,Thea grew nervous and hurried to walk away but it was too late she already heard Annie's voice calling her name. Choosing to be deaf,she didnt respond and even walked faster.

"Hey you criminal I am calling you! are you deaf?!"Annie shouted while walking faster to follow her.

With Annie calling her 'criminal' she lost her patience and stopped walking turning towards Annie's direction.

"What did you just call me?"Thea calmly asked and staring right into Annie's eyes whose naughtily smirking and looking down at Thea as if she is a disgusting thing that must not be touched.

In the corner of Thea's eyes,she saw Anya silently standing behind Annie looking at her with so much apology in her eyes.

"Oh what that 'Criminal' thing? Tss.. why bother being called one when you really are a criminal."Annie sarcastically responded with her face full of mockery just to piss Thea.

"We both know__"Thea glanced at Anya and rolled eyes on her then glaring back at Annie."I mean the three of us knew what really happened right? So pathetic for always recalling that incident.Well its a matter of honesty of who's telling the truth." Thea continued mocking Annie.

With those words being said,Annie smirked and crossed her arms in her chest.

"Oh god,you've got some nerves on picking a fight huh?"Annie laughed

"Bold of you to think that Im the one who's picking a fight,aren't you so childish for starting all of this?"Thea smirked leaving Annie speechless.

Thea calmly walked away from the sisters not until she noticed someone grabbed her grocery bags and ripped it all away making all her grocery items fell and scattered on the ground.

"Im not done yet! Why are you leaving?!"Annie gone wild shouting while stepping on all of Thea's grocery items on the ground.

Anya silently pulling her sister away but Annie didnt budge and keeps on stepping.

"What the?! Are crazy?! those are my groceries how could you do this you lunatic!!"Thea shouted at her and kneeling trying to save those apple's instant noodles milk that are on the ground stepped by Annie.

With this commotion they drawed the attention of supermarket staffs and other shoppers,some shoppers are yelling at Annie to stop while others are pulling her away from the scene but Annie didnt budge. Several people have been taking video of the commotion and others are helping Thea to pick up the items.

"Why are you restraining me?! Didn't you know that this girl is a criminal?!"Annie shouted to all the people gathered around them.

"This girl tried to kill me before!"Annie continued while pointing at Thea whose busy trying to save all the ragged items.

"SHE__"

"Annie STop!!! You're creating a scandal for yourself!!"Anya shouted at Annie that left her speechless and shocked.

"Oh,so you're on this criminal's side?! I am your sister! She tried to kill me!"

"You're the one whose trying to kill her!Dont make up stories!"Anya shouted back at her older sister and left.

Annie left speechless glancing at those people whose intently looking at her and heard some other shoppers whispering.

Thea finished picking up all her items,when she was about to stand,someone grabbed her hand away from the crowd. The things happened so fast and found herself being pulled in the dark alleys close to her apartment. The roads are so dark that she cant see whose been pulling her,with all her fear;she's been shaking non stop and its as if she lost her voice when out of fear she cant shout.

She gasped when her back was powerfully pushed against the wall of the dark alley. Thea breathed heavily and didnt day a word,but she was stopped when she his the guy's voice.

"Are you okay?We can just buy another set of groceries."A calm familiar voice was heard.

Thea teared up and harshly pushed the guy away making him stumble and was hit by some hint of streetlight. Through this,his face were nearly visible to Thea's eyes,but with the voice itself Thea clearly knew who it was.
